How Short Is Too Short?

I have awesome new purple tights but all my skirts are pretty short...how short is too short?

Normally I'd just get my mother to check it out on webcam (yes, I'm 22! )!

I always do the hand check that was done in school. have your hands straighten down by your side, your skirt could not be shorter than your fingers.

Do you have a long shirt? You can wear the shirt with the tights under and use the skirt/belt as one of those fat belts to accessorize!!!

I disagree - it depends entirely upon what happens to be under the skirt!

To me, there's a difference between too short for work, too short for class, and too short for going out at night. I wouldn't wear it to work. Class is iffy. As for going out, I think you'd be ok (it's much less exposing to wear a short skirt with tights than it is with bare legs!)

I am dating myself but I remember the rule being if you knelt and the hem did not touch the floor, the skirt was too short.

We do the printer test at work. What happens when you bend over the printer. If I see too much, then it is too short and time to go home and change.
