How scary would you rate Mullholland Madness?

Okay if CS is a 10 on the scare factor how would you rate MM? I looked at it on YouTube and it doesn't seem that bad but it could be deceiving. Thanks.

I would say 3 or 4 out of 10. Now 8 or 9 would go to ToT. Just as a comparison is all (how much of a whimp I am). :thumbsup2

My daughter who was 5 last time we went LOVED it MM.

Scary? no. Awful? yes. I know there are some kids that like it, but as an adult, I hate this ride. It slams me so hard from side to side it feels like it will break a rib and it gives me a migraine.

My husband and I even gave it another try on our last trip because we thought we must have just had a bad experience, but we hated it again (and we usually like everything).

Not too bad at all. My daughters - 5 and 6 - absolutely LOVED it.

I lost my hat on the drop - so if you're wearing anything even remotely loose, remember to take it off. :)

I'd rate it a 2 for adults and a 5 for little kids. It's like a Fisher-Price "my first" rollercoaster. My husband and I laughed over it when we last rode it. :rotfl:

I would rate ToT as a 10 so it shows you what a wimp I am! :lmao:

I ride it and I am what you would call a drop wimp.... I HATE drops.... the drop in this one does give my tummy a flip flop but not TOO bad.

My 9 year old rides it about half of the time and other half chickens out. I am secretly glad but when he decides to go I go and laugh but hold my breath for the drop. I consider TOT a 10 and do not ride it (though have ridden the one in WDW 2X) and I give this about a 4 just because of the drop.

Agree, scarier on the 405.

I agree with the others. It is uncomfortable. Sitting in the front row can be scary simply because at some corners you look like you are going to fall off the track.

My son who was 5 last time we went (but developmentally behind and scared of most rides) went on it twice and loved it.

I would say 2 or 3, not scary, but there are some quick moves. My 5 year old LOVED it!

I agree - I go on this ride once for DD's sake, after that - she is on her own.

It's like a Fisher-Price "my first" rollercoaster.

i.. i would not say it's awfull.. it's a tiny coaster. but has thrills! lol :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 i give it two thumbs up! i still get a kick out of that coaster no matter how many times i have been on it! :rotfl:, it's just a lot of fun!

soo scary? no, thrilling ? yes! fun?yes! :cutie:

YES YES YES.

I've been on it twice now, as DS (then 5) absolutely ADORES it. I cannot stand it, but the first time was worse b/c we were in the very front. Terrifying! Plus, I had my backpack and I think a shopping bag with me, so I was trying to hold onto those, keep my skirt from flying up (I wear cotton skirts most days at the park, they are usually more comfy for me than pants or shorts), AND keep a tight grip on DS so that he didn't, you know, break through the lap bar and fall out.

The other time we went wasn't AS bad because we sat further back, but it was still uncomfortable. Oh, and I switched sides with DS, because it felt like most of the turns went one particular way, and the first time DS was on the "outside" and that made me more nervous.

I just really didn't like that ride.

It's a favorite for my family...especially if they can get me to ride. Apparently my loud screaming adds to the gleeful, fun experience for my kids and husband. Those corners really DO make it seem like you're going to go right over the side of the track, gets me every time!

I find this one scarier than ToT or Screamin because it always looks like you going to just tip over and fall out! :scared1: I close my eyes until I get to the bottom because I don't want to see that high up. :rotfl:

I agree with most posters, kids seem to LOVE it! Even my teenagers. My DH likes it more than me. It isn't scary but definately can be rough. It is worth doing at least once.

My girls adore MM....LOL DBF and I can leave it so we usually get 4 FPs and the girls ride twice in a row while we sit and wait.....or while we pin trade. :) Anyway yes, some of the turns look like you will fall off, but you won't...it's just an optical illusion. :) The turns are very fast and the drops are very fast as well. The ride is over very quickly. The big complaint we have about it is the cars are tiny...DBF is 6'3" and he barely fits...we always put the girls in the front of the 4 seater car and we sit in the back, we do get thrown around but it's fun to do occasionally. :)

Scary score, it's a 3 out of 10

I hate this ride but my dd (9) loves it!!! That being said I love tot, screamin and all the other rides.

I just don't like the illusion of being thrown off track or out of the car. :scared1:

It is over very quickly and I can tolerate it when just dd and I go but I do enjoy it more when she has a friend to go with her so I don't have too. :goodvibes

I've been on MM only once and it was quite thrilling...very jerky so definitely not for those who are prone to back pain. There was one very steep drop that kind of freaked me out but it was fun for the most part :thumbsup2
