How risky to wait to book fastpasses?

I'm wondering how important it is to book my fastpasses at the exact time my window opens. Is it too risky to wait until the following day after I finish work?

At the 60 day mark I only found it to be a problem for the Mine Train.

August 15-30, 10 park days, staying at the Polynesian

I'd say that based on that you should be fine to wait. You have a great scenario on your hands:

That time of year is not the busiest time.
You'll have the 60 day window.
The length of your trip will give you a decided advantage for fastpasses at the end of your trip!

Unless your goal is to book Mine Train and Anna&Elsa everyday of your trip you're going to get everything you want even one day later.

The only thing that might be crazy in that scenario would if you needed to see AE at Epcot on your first day. That Frozen pavilion might be a bit unpredictable.

You will lots of days to play with.

MK will be our most visited park, especially with park hopper tickets and resort location. So would love 7DMT, of course, several times. But A & E are not biggies with my teens. ;) :thanks:

No A & E but we'll try for that Frozen ride near the end of the trip then :) Thanks for the tip!

You can always play with them after you book them without loosing them as well- if you have them booked, you can log on and see if by random 7DMT becomes available or something else. If they do, you can swap, if not you keep the previous one as long as you don't swap parks.

7D is always tricky it seems, but I've been able to get it far out. Good luck!

Just got back back from WDW. We literally planned this trip last Saturday Night (12/26) and flew out on Sunday (12/27). Obviously our FP were planned LATE... and on the busy week of the year.. all of our FPs were way late in the day but we survived and rode everything we wanted to... we just had to be at the parks at rope drop.. so for me, I would not freak out if I did not make my FP reservations and soon as my windowed opened up.. you should get what you want.
