How quickly will Jedi Academy fill up in September?

Hi,
We're taking a surprise trip for my son's birthday in September. I have ADRs for Chef Mickey (9/10) and we were also going to take him to HS for the Star Wars attractions. I only recently found out about the Jedi Training and I know that he would love it...but with a 9AM Chef Mickey reservation I wasn't expecting to get to HS until 11ish. Mid September do we have a hope of getting a slot for him and his sister if we're not there at rope drop? I keep checking to see if I can change CM but to no avail. Thanks!

We are doing a surprise trip for my son's birthday in September as well! Have you tried the reservation finder on touring plans.com? It helped us get several hard to get adr's.

There is just no way to know. Can you switch your park days so that you can be there at rope drop? That is the only way to guarantee he will get a spot. With that being said, if you don't want to change plans, you may be ok. When we were there in early March, my daughter did the 11:20 show and as I was signing her in for the show around 11:00, they were still taking reservations for the later evening shows. It really depends on the day, the interest in JTA, and the crowd levels. I will tell you that JTA was my daughter's favorite thing last trip. She was 5, now 6. We are going again in Nov. and the only thing she has asked to do again is JTA.
