How quickly have they responded to you

yip we paid 10 per cent , and the balance has to be paid 60 days before we go

:cool1:

Just checked the US brochure & they don't have to pay until 30 days before arrival:confused3

I know different countries have different offers but I would have thought payment would be the same across the board

That's interesting that the US have different rules. I expect what threw them was an American citizen living in the EU, where the 60 day thing applies.

I don't like rudeness from Disney staff, but jeez, I don't want them to act like they want to be my friend. I would be

Its not soo much they try to be your mate but every cast member will smile and say hello to you and are just really nice when you go for a meal it just seems to be more relaxed and i dont know just friendlier between you and your server

i guess the language barrier is a part of it

i know they speak english but its not the same as it being your first language

I didn't think about that but now you mention I reckon that has where it has gone wrong

Hi sheryl_loves_ disney ~ Jackie, Elaine, Reid and Elaine all welcome you to DLP DISboard. :goodvibes

We are a friendly bunch on here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each.

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here and the DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

Very interesting about the differences for American's and Europeans and how DLP takes payment. I bet that's where it all got confused. I did notice that when I go onto the DLP website that there's an additional 20% or 25% for the British guests but when I change my country to the US, that offer no longer applies. :confused3

Anyway everything is paid for and we are going to Disneyland!!!!!:cool1:

Thanks for the info everyone!

Disney offer different deals to different countries. The UK tend to get quite a few good ones as more Brits travel to Disney
