How quick to the Marathons fill up?

My girlfriend and I want to do the 2007 Marathon. How quick do these races fill up? I see that registration is open now. Just don't want to miss out... but don't have the reg. fee right now either.

I think it closed sometime in Sept. The 1/2 filled up before the full did last year.
