Moderators - how can you allow this? This is spreading hatred and intolerance and how dare this person inject their "Christian" faith onto this girl?

I thought being a good Christian was about tolerance, respect for others and the golden rule - at least those are part of morals that make good Catholics good Catholics.

That is exactly what I was thinking. And I was also insulted by the "Catholics are Christians gone bad" comment. While Catholicism isn't perfect, I don't go around insulting other people's religions. I too thought Christians practiced tolerance.

How about marrying someone that you love in a romantic sense and want to commit to and share the rest of your life with? So no, in this country they don't have the same rights as everyone else!
