How old were you when you became a Parent?

I was 26..........gosh, that was so-o-o many moons ago. Being a Grandparent will be next......but not yet!!!

And now I've got two teenagers and I'm approaching 50. I guess they are keeping me young.

28 with DD#1--I turned 29 4 months later. Then I was 31 with DD#2 and 34 with DS--almost 35.
I have a student who is 16 and her mom is 32! When I was that age I had a 1 year old and a 4 year old!! But on the downside, I'll be almost 53 when DS graduates from HS!

I just had my first baby 6 days after my 28th birthday! He was the greatest birthday girft EVER!!! He'll be 7 weeks old on Thursday! Boy does time fly!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW, I never thought of myself as being an OLD mama! I turned 35 6 days before DD was born!

On the other hand, my Mom had me when she was just 18 and my youngest brother when she was 42!

I was 30 with my first child, 34 with the second. Married at 22. We waited 8 years by choice to have children, I wanted to travel and establish ourselves financially before having children. Worked well for us!
