How old is "too old" for HHN?

Attending the HHN is on my bucket list... However, I probably won't be able to attend until my kids are much older... like in college older. They are 9 and 5 yo now... So That would be in at least 10 years ...when DH and I will be in late 50s or early 60s... Will we be too old to go then??

I just turned 60 and will be going to my 7th HHN this fall...I plan to keep going every year as long as I have breath in my body

Late 50's is not old
either is early 60's

I had kids in high school in my early 50's

Made it easier for me to do solo trips for hhn in October......

I have met up with other dis peeps that were in their 70's for hhn

Some had better stamina than me

First trip this year, not first time to Universal. Husband and I are both 69, staying active is the best thing to do. Was thinking we might be out of place.

You are never to old to do what you want to do... it's one of the perks of aging. I am 52 years old and I will still wait in line to get a picture with Grumpy or Mickey or Pluto. If anyone looks at me funny, it's their problem, not mine. I am going solo to Universal and I plan on riding EVERY ride in Seuss Landing.. It's my vacation and until someone else is paying for me, then I'm gonna do what I want! Now get off my lawn and go have fun!

Never to old to have fun. I love to fide the Suess Trolly everytime we go. I love one Fish two fish also. We did it last time and the youngest was 25.

I'm 57 and definitely not old enough for HHN-it's too scary!

Seriously, DH and I are in our late 50s/early 60s and we're not all that different in our likes and dislikes than in our 30s. I wasn't ready for scary at age 10 or 30 or 50 but I still love stuff like Rip Ride Rockit as much as I did as a teen.

Lol with the costs escalating for RIP tours, etc. what age group do you think has the extra cash/time to 'do' HHN? Lol

Those of us in their 50's, 60's, 70's & beyond have seen our share of scary stuff.

Takes a lot more than a few ghouls/monsters (married a few) & decrepit scary houses (owned a couple of money pits) to lay us low.



If you're mobile enough to do the parks in the day & appreciate a good scare (jumpstart the ole ticker?), come on down. We'll leave a light on for you.

Why not bring the kids when they hit their teen years?You see lots of multi-generation groups. Naturally, assuming they'd want to jump in of course.

I'm serious when I say this. I'm a ghost hunter in real life, so HHN is NOT too scary for me.

Just turned 63 today and planning on going to my seventh HHN next month. Of course, one must make adjustments. We stay on site so it is much easier when leaving the event(nice walk or boat ride). No worry's if we partake in a few adult beverages too. We go three or four nights so we don't feel rushed. That gives us plenty of time to see all the shows(more than once of the ones we like), enjoy the Scare Zones, and just people watch. We're usually back to our hotel by around midnight. Sleep in the next day and usually just lounge around the pool in the afternoon. Can take a nap if we want! By the evening we are ready to do it all over again. I hope to be doing this into my seventies. I just may have to go a little slower pace and have one less drink(or not).
