How old is too old for character dining and autograph books?

I've heard some people say that kids should stop with the character stuff at 12 and I've heard other people say it should never stop.

How old was too old for you?

107! :p

You are never ever, ever, ever too old IMO!

MAGIC IS TIMELESS!!

I'm "fortyish" & I can't wait to get down there in 2 weeks & pick out my new autograph book....I filled up my last one during our January trip!!! :goodvibes

You're only too old for character interaction if you think you're too old. And personally, I suspect the characters don't make fun of adults when they're not "in character." They understand what these characters mean to people, both children and the young at heart.

Well, I'm almost 40, and love them! I had breakfast with Pooh & Friends in Nov 02 for my 34th birthday, had breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen last Sept with my best friend for her 37th birthday, and plan to do some character meals for my 40th in two years. I also got a handful of autographs in Sept as well.

My son celebrated his twelfth birthday in WDW and I would have thought for sure he was too old (he usually tries to act older than he is) for autographs, but he wanted to buy a book and he got several autographs. There are some he didn't want (Pooh, etc) and mainly went for the villians, but he had a great time collecting them.

Are you ever too old???

Disney is the one place where you can be a kid again. I love to dine with the characters. In January me 22 and sisters 17, 16, and 9 all had breakfast at Crystal Palace!! We had soo much fun.

We're two 50-somethings who always plan at least 3-4 character meals; they're the highlight of our day sometimes! We don't do the autograph thing, but it's lotsa fun just to watch the younger kids getting their pics taken with the characters. I've thought about getting our own autographs, but figured that parents in line behind us might take offense to full-grown adults taking up space in the line . . . . . !!! :rolleyes1

Yeah, I know, that's only their opinion, but ya never like to start anything ugly and ruin the magic!!

Too old? I'm 37 and I'm not too old yet. I don't think it should ever stop. It is part of the magic, the fun, the experience that is WDW!!!!

For me Disney brings me back....not that I am old only 28 but Disney makes me feel 8! As for kids I think they would love it ALWAYS......but really does depend on the kids I guess :)

I'm 12 right now and i love the character meals i personally think it matters if you're a boy or a girl. Girls like it longer boys are like so you want me to eat dinner with some sweaty ppl in costumes (my opinion)

Well, I'm 19, and when I go back I'll be having breakfast with Eeyore and getting my picture with every character I see! I don't think you can be too old :cool1:

:yay: princess: :smooth: :woohoo: :grouphug: :3dglasses :cloud9: Well when I went a few years ago with my family my husband was so excited to see Balloo!! and Pooh I can't tell you how excited he was!! He beat out the kids to have his picture taken with them!! :wizard: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :hippie:
