We're making the trip for dd4, but of course dd11 mo will be along for the ride! I'm not worried about dd11 mo doing the rides but I wonder if she'll be able to sit thru the MGM shows & the 3D shows. Can you watch Philharmagic without the glasses? I doubt I can get her to wear them!
It's hard to know how she'll be in 2 1/2 more months when she'll be crawling, maybe even walking, by then. She's not much of a "lap" baby, very sqirmy, but she eadily sits still for a 30 minute Baby Mozart or Baby Beethoven video. I think she may be ok with the visual stimulation of the shows.
I'd like to hear from others who have experienced shows with babies.

One thing to keep in mind about the sit down shows, especially the 3D ones, is that they are extremely loud. If she doesn't like loud noises, she might be scared and uncomfortable in the theaters.

The regular shows, like Beauty and the Beast, are great! DS was 13 months when we took him the first time and he loved those shows. The costumes ar really colorful, they have some great stage effects and alot of the songs were already familiar to him.

Try to pick a row that you can go all the way to the end of and therefore be close to the exit should you need it. I agree that the light and specail efects will keep her attention. The loud noise might be an issue however. I would be more concerned that the 3-d shows might frighten the 4 year old that really knows what is going on. Again being near an exit can soulve that one too. Have fun.

Our 2 yr old son was scared in the 3D shows. He did try to grab at a few things coming "at him", but what really freaked him out was the physical effects (water spray, scented smoke, bursts of air, etc). After that he was afraid to go anywhere dark (probably fearing that something would spray out at him). And some of them are loud. Add it all up, and its not fun for a little one!
