How often?

Once a year usually but did manage a bonus trip last year as well. We are planning more trips once both the sons are away at uni but still hope to go each year as a family as well.

Definately once a year, twice in a 12 month period to benefit from annual passes. And try and sneak a trip in between the 2 of them if possible which we have managed the last few times.

I spent 8 weeks there last year (wanted to get every $ out of my AP!) We try and go once a year for 2 weeks - but I normally get so sad when I get home that I book another trip within a week of returning - so we usually go about twice.

We had our first trip in 2006 for DH's 30th birthday. After a year we started feeling ichy, had to go again. So booked a 2 week trip for 2008. During that 2nd trip we realised that we couldn't be without Disney for long!
We were in Orlando again in November 2008 for 3 days, originally didn't plan to go to Disney, but the pull was too strong, so went to MVMCP for 1 night.
We then went again in January (combined with a work trip) for about 10 days!

Next trip is booked for September, 2 weeks (3 days of those are for a convention, but possibly looking at extending if the budget allows).

I am now convinced that we will need a Disney World fix about once a year :cloud9:

We were gonna start going every 2 years then decided to start a family. DD is 15 months old now. Gonna wait till she is 6 when finances are better and then hopefully go every 2 years.....am tempted to take her when she is 3 thou...:rolleyes1

We've been once a year since 1998 and for the past two years I have managed three trips per year!!! :cloud9: We have 2 planned for this year tho' nothing for 2010 and beyond... :scared1:

Well we did go yearly (02/03/04 then had a break) and went last in 08 and again this year.
But have decided to have a break for a few years we have other plans :thumbsup2 However I am very tempted by Dec 2010...but we'll see.:rotfl:

My DH (a Brit who has been over here for a long time now BTW :) ) isn't a huge Disney fan like I am, so we go once every 2 or 3 years. I'd love to go every year!

I'm amazed at how much vacation time so many of you seem to have available! I'm jealous!

Once every 2 years for me, would love to go every year but my DF wants to visit other places as well. I could easily go every year!

Yeah the legal minimum is 24 days including public holidays but is due to increase in April, a lot of people get more than this anyway. We do pay a heck of a lot of tax though :headache:

DW works for Leeds Social services and gets extra for years of service so she is on 36 days a year now(incl public hols) but she also gets loads of extra for overtime, meetings etc. All adds upto us being able to take upto 9 weeks a year, I have to close the business so as much as I want but no pay for any of it and does not help the business being closed but lifes too short to worry, maxing out on hols while we have the money & our health.

Been every year since 1992 (except '94), sometimes we manage to go twice a year, agree with wayneg "but lifes too short to worry, maxing out on hols while we have the money & our health" off again for a quick 8 days on 19th March :woohoo:

We go every 2 years roughly, although the gap is decreasing gradually over the years, the next trip will be down to an 18 month gap. I will not consider anywhere else for a holiday though much to my wife's chagrin. She would consider short breaks to France whereas I view that as money being diverted from the Disney fund and thats just not acceptable
