How often does the shuttle run for the Candy Cane Inn?

Also, are the guests of the Candy Cane Inn the only ones riding that shuttle?

I think I read somewhere that it was every 30 minutes but if that isn't right I would like to know also. I (the grandma) am hoping to take a nap or at least hang out at the pool in the afternoon.

I called the inn yesterday and they said it runs on every hour and half hour. So, yes, it runs every 1/2 hour.

It leaves CCI on the hour and half hour and leaves from the parks at quarter after and quarter off.

Also, only CCI guests are allowed on, they check your room key.

They seem to run quicker at closing time. When we were there this past summer, we saw the shuttle leave as we were walking to the loading area. Another one arrived within ten minutes, and we left when we were full. And, yes, you need to show your room key to get on the bus.

Questions:

When you get on the CCI shuttle, do you have to ride on it for awhile down Harbor street so it can turn around and head back towards the DL entrance? I guess I'm wondering how long you ride the shuttle to the DL entrance, being that CCI and DL are on the same side of the street.

Would you recommend walking the DL entrance instead of using the shuttle?
