How often does the availability of rooms change?

I am looking to stay a few nights at the end of February. I have noticed that different rooms are available depending on the day that I check. I was emailed a PIN on Monday and, when I called, the Poly was available (Contemp was not). Tuesday, it was the opposite. Now today, neither. We really want the Poly. Will it come back?!

Why do they do this? Hard to keep up with.

I would keep checking, especially 30 days out which I think is when package payments are due. Thousands upon thousands of people are changing their reservations all the time.

However, one thing to keep in mind is that President's Day is later this year (2/20) and the Princess Half is the following weekend. The RunDisney crowd is a pretty committed crew so you may not see a ton of cancellations that last weekend of Feb.

But again, keep checking. Extending the length of your stay may help if possible.

Room availability changes all the time.

When I was trying to book our recent trip, I saw the Beach Club room I wanted, but my daughter distracted me. Went back about half hour later and it was gone. Back again that evening, but gone by the time I emailed my travel agent! Then back about 20 mins after that and I called her back and she grabbed it! It was nuts!

I also watched a few other resorts (Poly, Contemporary and French Quarter) during those days and was amazed at how the availability changed.

Also, I had a CM tell me that things changed over on their website at 6am(et). Not sure if that's true, but that's what I was told, so might be worth checking in the mornings.

As pp said, they change all the time. We were planning to go in March 2017. I already had a room booked, for a while now, at BWI under an AP discount. Then we decided we would like to stay at the Contemporary only if we could get a garden wing, garden view room. I checked numerous times a day for several weeks to see if a room became available. No luck. Since then, we decided to cancel and go on a Disney cruise instead, however, just out of curosity, yesterday, I checked again under the AP discount, same timeframe, and all categories at the resort were now available under the discount.
