I'm Catholic, but I'm not very religious. I used to go to church when I was younger, but not anymore. I also never read the Bible.

Snoopy, I think that often times people's strong faith in God is born in adversity. When things get too hard for us to handle by ourselves we turn to God for strength and develop a faith in God when He works things out for us.
