How often do you need to change your Sizzix cutting pad?

I don't have a clue. How can you tell when you need to replace it? I did pick up a few extra when AC Moore had everything Sizzix 50% off.

I finally changed mine out when the blades in my dies started sticking to the cutting board. I probably waited too long, but like y'all I had no clue.

I have had mine for about a year and still works fine. (i think)

I think it really depends on how often you use it. I know that I need to change mine when the ridges from the pad start making impressions on my diecuts.
