How often do you hang out with your kids?

Every day, all morning *homeschool* and the evenings. She plays with her friends in the afternoon. I cherish how much time I get.

See the teen at supper. Besides that he's usually in his room. Sometimes we do a family movie night. Or when I'm driving him places.

Every Sunday for dinner and sometimes randomly on Friday night or Saturday.

Adult children? Usually once a week, mostly on Sunday for lunch or dinner and/or football.

My kids are all 14 & under, so every day.

I know that's going to change soon, but I'm in no hurry for that.

Mine are adults.
They come for lunch every Saturday.
I see them more if something special is going on.
And we vacation together sometimes.

Mine are 17 & 15 & aren't prone to disappear into their bedrooms when they come home from school, so daily

Our “kids” are 46 and 44. We do spend quite a bit of time with both of them. Our son is an over-the-Road truck driver and is home on weekends. He pops in a couple times on the weekend, and he takes time off work in the spring and fall to help with the farm planting and harvesting. Our daughter and her fiancé live in town and we see them at least a couple times a month, go out to eat together, and we vacation together sometimes too. See a lot of both our kids from May - September as we have vacation property up north and they come up to camp with us sometimes. We are a very close family, with the grands too, and I so appreciate that.

Not often enough. My son is 42 (tomorrow) and has a 19 month old baby so between work, his new house and the baby, Mama is way down on the list. I went over there to visit about a month ago and the baby will be spending the night tomorrow night with us. My son and his SO will be going to a Georgia fb game pre-party and watching the game (go Dawgs). I'm really excited about the baby spending the night. They only live about 45 min. away but life is just too busy for them and I'm not that Mama who just drops in.

My youngest, every day. She's 14 and the only one still living at home. I see my 24yo almost every weekend, usually because he needs to do laundry and hasn't installed hookups at his house yet (weird house has connections for a washer but not dryer) or just because he's in town to get together with friends. He and bonus son only live about 45 minutes away so they stop in here or I message them when I'm in the city and stop by their house or take them out for dinner every now and then. The 21yo goes to school clear across the country so we don't see her often during the academic year, but when she's home, we hang out a lot and she still travels with us as much as her schedule allows.

Every day. Mine are 19 and 16 and both at home. My eldest it depends on her class schedule if she is home for dinner during the week or has other plans. My youngest is a a homebody. Like others with teens, lots of time at home they are in their rooms when at home. They do like to go out for dinner or to events/ shows with us she we often go as a family and sometimes I do things with them ( mother/ daughter) days. We are going to see the Nutcracker next month. Probably because I lost my mom in my 20s but it is important to try to get these days in once In awhile.

My daughter comes over every two weeks for lunch. But she only lives 6 miles away.
My son lives 400 miles away. Haven't seen him since June.

Every day. They both still live at home, my youngest and I play Minecraft together a lot. My older kid likes to debate, he will pick a topic, learn all he can, and then we talk about it. He's on the autism spectrum and likes to hyper focus and I enjoy learning new things

Before college this year - all the time - she’s my best friend - there is nobody that I laugh with more than her. She has many many friends her age, but she always makes time to hang out with me, even if it’s just for a short time - it’s not about the length of time, it’s about the quality of time. Needless to say, it’s been a big adjustment for me with her away.

My oldest and youngest live with me. The two in the middle both live 1 mile and 5 miles away. Those two I see probably once a week or more. During Little League season, a lot more as we all go to my grandkids games.

Sometimes it turns out autistic kiddos have autistic parents. I'm curious if you ever considered. I love Minecraft but haven't played in a long time. It's VERY cool that you talk to your kids about their special interests.
