How often do you go to Disney?

I'm just curious as to how often all the posters who are complaining about 'changes' at Disney, actually go?
I see some posts from people planning their first trip but are confused because of all the different posts pro/con of the changes. Then other posts are from the 'once a year' group talking about the good ole days.
We average four, five or even six trips a year since we discovered WDW in 2008. Cannot think of a bad trip yet. We always find something new (to us) every trip. We get to the park early & stay late most days. Fastpass has never been much of an issue to us and we've still been able to ride what we love without much wait. We use one or two at each park at the most. Lots of times we have given our fastpasses away if we left the park before the appointed time.
Just wondering how many of the disenchanted go several times a year?

The Disney KoolAid comes in different flavors & I want to try them all, lol.

I'm from D.C. and I go to Disney two or three times a year.

1-2 times per year but we may take an 18 month break next year. I am not disenchanted yet but ti does seem like every trip gets more stressful.

We go yearly. This year has 2 adult only quick trips to take advantage of our DVC annual pass. I liked the FP+ for the most part. The magic band was fun and easy. The only issue we had was linking my and my husband accounts but we did that over the phone with IT. The person we spoke to was great.
Change is hard for a lot of people and Disney is a business, they are there to make money and happiness. They sometimes make mistakes but I have a hard time believing many of the changes are going away.

We used to go twice a year, then we slowed it down to once a year because the kids were older and involved in more things.

Now we are skipping WDW all together because of the complaining and heading to Disneyland approximately 1yr 3months after our last visit to WDW. We love Disneyland anyway so ... ;)

I'm not discouraged with WDW, but I am discouraged with the complainers/over planners and I'd like for everything to calm down a bit before we head to WDW.

Usually once a year or so. This year, much more. Then not at all for a while. Between the changes in the parks eroding WDW's appeal for the way we travel, the fact that the kids are getting older and less interested in Disney, and DH finally having a job with a little bit of vacation flexibility (we've been stuck with winter-only vacation time for years), we're planning to take a break from WDW at least until the Avatar and Star Wars projects are complete.

We've averaged a trip per year since 1999, twice with 18 month gaps, twice 6 months apart.

In the past 9 years we have been 6 times. Because of the rising costs we now plan to do one possible two days at wdw then over to the dcl. We found the cruise to be cheaper and still lots of fun.

Agree on the cruise. We love DCL and cruise every year with them so we are getting our Disney fix regardless.

22-28 days (2 trips) every calendar year, for approx the past 10 years.
8 days a year (1 trip) for about 15 years prior to those.
and an average of about 8-14 days (1 trip) about every other, or 3rd year, before then, from the year WDW opened.

we're not disenchanted yet;)
we've adjusted our "vacationing style" as WDW has evolved & become much more crowded. now, our vacations are very relaxing, with few plans, lots of mini-golf, spur of he moment options (like walking to EPCOT just for a grey goose slushie ) , watching street performers, walking & chatting, meeting strangers, and lots of laugher.
i think the thing i miss the most is that decorative items in the parks & resorts never used to be bolted/glued down - guess more people = more theft....it just seemed so more innocent & like family years ago.
changing our vacationing style (less parks, more relaxing) keeps us happy :thumbsup2

I try to get there every two years, although this time I'm planning to sneak in another little stay in 2014 if I can swing it before having to save for a family destination wedding in 2016.

I'm in the parks at least once a week, sometimes more. The whole FP+ and such bothers me since I decide my trips on a whim...but it's not really that big of a deal.

Living half-way around the country, not being retired, and having kids in school, we "only" do one trip per year with the occasional second trip. Our main trip is 10-12 days long. If a second trip, it can be anywhere from 5-14 days long, depending on the reason. My annual trek started in 1976.

We always did one or two day trips once year since 1976 ish just mk the only Disney IMO

Then in 1995 we did big 10 day trip on site and I have been hooked to long trips every third year.

There have been many changes over the years, Disney hasn't made me jaded yet so we will still drink the Disney kool aid do they make lemon favor?

We usually try for once a year, sometime's twice. We typically do one "big" trip and one Disney World trip (ie, Europe & Disney, Caribbean & Disney, etc).

However, the past two years have been slightly different - we haven't visited "the world" in 2012 or 2013, which is rare, but we did do slightly larger other vacations to Costa Rica, Hong Kong (did visit the Disney there this year!), and Thailand.

We'll be vacationing in Disney World this January and are excited to see all the changes in the last two years!

We used to spend 4-5weeks a year there. We just moved here before the summer so I go 3-5x per day and the kids 1-2x per week.

We went in 2009, and we have a trip planned for 2014, so that's 5 years. And it'll likely be another 10 until we go again. I wish we could go more often but financially it's just not realistic for us. We'll have this trip which will be our girls "magical" trip since they are 3 and 6. Later we will have a more "adult" trip when they are teenagers. I am thankful for the time we have had and will have in Disney. I refuse to complain about FP+ and MDE and MyMagic+ because in reality it's not that big of a deal considering what some other people in the world are dealing with.

I haven't really complained about the changes too much yet because I haven't experienced them but for the past 4 years, I've gone solo twice a year.

That will be changing when my oldest goes off to college - I won't be able to afford to go as much. I'll be lucky to do once a year then.

We had our first visit in 2005-14 nights
2006-14 nights
2007-14 nights
2008-14 nights
2009-14 nights
2010-12 nights & 14 nights

Thanks, lots of positive answers to my question.
We are trying to sneak a 3 day visit in the week after Christmas but not sure yet.
It is usually myself, 2 dd's & 2 grandkids. All of us once a year as one of my dd's is not as Disney crazy as the rest of us. Sometimes it just me, 1 dd & 2 grandkids, and sometimes just me & dd as we are the true addicts.
Longing for the day I can do a solo trip.

Lauradis, I don't know if they have the lemon koolaid but Club Cool still has Beverly, lol.
