The lady who cuts my hair had me go with a shorter hair style a couple years ago, and I have to get it cut every 3 weeks

I read somewhere that hair grows an inch a month... of coarse that's an average, some people's will grow faster or slower. According to my hairdresser, mine grows fast, and I have a short cut, so during the school year I go about every 6 to 8 weeks (and get my brows waxed at the same time). I also like to add a darker color to my blond hair during the winter.
In the summer, I'm not working and I'm hardly out and about, so I wait longer between cuts.
Oh MYYou need to leave the bag off

Few people grow faster, quite a few slower.
or your hair is usually not too healthy.
I think I have 2 clients who just "call"--everyone else books ahead so it is pretty predictable.
If my hair is around chin length, every 4 weeks.
Otherwise, somewhere between 6 and 8 weeks.
Hair grows approximately 1/2" a month.Few people grow faster, quite a few slower.
Color needs to be done every 4 to 6 weeks. There are a few people who could use it every 2-3 weeks! (yikes!). Some people can go 6-8 weeks for color. Longer than 8 weeks and you either look pretty darn bador your hair is usually not too healthy.
Generally, my clients walk out the door with their next appointment scheduled for between 3 to 6 weeks. Most are every 4 weeks.I think I have 2 clients who just "call"--everyone else books ahead so it is pretty predictable.

but I schedule for every 4 weeks and use that grey cover-up crayon thing for the week beforeOk, I have a question if I may? Isn't your hair except at the root and hair folicles, dead? Just like eyelashes, first layer of skin?
I see the commercials for "healthy" hair to the tips and I thought I remember in high school it being brought up that fingernails themselves, first outer layer of skin, hair are dead and that's why they "shed".
