How often do you dry clean skirts/pants?

Since 1) I'm not sweating in my work clothes and 2) Dry cleaning is costly 3) dry cleaning often can lighten clothing, I usually wear a skirt or pants 2-3 times before dry cleaning it. My friend who is a neat freak/germaphobe type person dry cleans EVERY TIME she wears a garment. Just wondering what you all do. Thanks!

I use Dryell in between dry cleaning my clothes. It's great for freshening them up and removing light stains. I Dryell blouses and pants after each wearing and send them out to be dry cleaned a few times each season. Blazers and heavy sweaters I'll send out a few times a season but will also Dryell them in between if needed.

I usually go at least 3 times, like you.

I figure, I've got pantyhose on with my skirts and dress pants so they don't actually touch my skin all day! As long as I don't drop food on them, they look great for a long time.

I sit in a pretty clean office so I wear them several times before I dry clean them. Even washables sometimes get two wearings - otherwise they look old so fast!

I used to use it, but the smell of it bothered me.

Exactly!

So Dryell works pretty well?

With heavy sweaters it's rare that I send them out since they have shirts under them always. Since I'm usually only wearing that sort of clothing for a couple hours at a time (I'm still in grad school) it doesn't get sent out often. A lot of my dress clothes can be washed though. Gotta love the suits from Express!

I just don't buy anything that needs to be dry cleaned anymore. I hate running errands and dropping off/picking up dry cleaning is one of my least favorite things to do--not to mention the cost. :teeth: If it can't be thrown in the washer (heck, I'll even use the delicate cycle and hang dry things!), it's not coming to live at my house.

Never. If it has to be dry cleaned, I don't buy it. In fact I think I have only been to the dry cleaners twice in my life.
