Poll coming. :thumbsup2

Lately I've been doing laundry every day to keep on top of it, but when I'm working, I take one day on the weekend and do it all. I usually start early in the morning and go through until evening.

I chose a few times a week, but it's more like 4 or 5 days a week. With son's golf stuff, plus his regular school clothes, it adds up fast.

Mostly everyday but sometimes not. With a toddler there is always stuff to wash!

I chose a few times a week but that is not really true. We have a divided hamper and DH will throw in a load at lunch when one side (darks or lights) get full.

I try to do it daily but DH sometimes sleeps during the day (night shift) and the laundry rooms is right next to our bed room. I staarted a load last night and asked the girls if they had anything,I truly thought the washer would overflow. Sheesh, how long do they keep their stuff upstairs?

With 7 of us, and ds playing sports everyday, I get very behind if I miss a day - I do laundry 365 days of the years!

When my washer and dryer were in the basement, I did laundry 1X per week. It was too inconvenient to carry everything up and down 2 flights of stairs and then to remember to move wash from one machine to the other.

Now, I have the W/D on the 2nd floor. It is so convenient to throw a load in whenever and to dry it when I'm passing by the room again. So, when the washer is full, it gets run. Usually, we throw darks into the washer until it's full and whites stay in a basket until it's full and then they get run in between loads of darks.

It is just me and the Hubby so we can get by with just doing laundry once a week. However I should state that we live in an apartment complex and are able to do up to four loads of laundry at a time. Usually we end up doing about three loads at a time. :thumbsup2

one load a day and I never sort, unless I have to bleach ds football pants and socks. I always used to sort until a mother years ago at ds preschool said she never did so I gave it a try and have never had a problem with colors bleeding. (If I do have a red or similiar color new sweater I will add salt to the water to be safe)

I have a family of 5, I do it everyday.

Family of 4 here and I do it once a week. 4-5 loads.

1-3 per day:eek: No one in my house knows how to reuse a towel:rolleyes:

Every day. I don't always wash every day, but with drying and folding, I do it every day. Our laundry room is right outside my bedroom door and right across from the bathroom. I can't pass by without seeing if there is a full load in the hamper or clothes to dry or fold. It is much less of a chore having the laundry room upstairs.

That's what I was going to ask about for those who do so much laundry. We only change our towels 1X per week. Hand towels are changed daily.

Even better is a W/D on the 2nd floor and 1 in the basement for kitchen towels, tablecloths, basement bathroom towels and workout towels. Luckily, after we moved ours upstairs, a friend was moving and gave us her old Neptune set.
