Okay so this question might be out there but how often do they change the sheets in the resort? We stayed 7 night last year and they never changed them. This year we are staying 11 nights and I am hoping they will at least change them once. Do they know how many nights you are staying or do you have to request it?

Last I heard it was every 4th ngt, so after 3 ngts they change the sheets - last December this was true at the Poly. At any resort, a guest can request to have the sheets changed - just call housekeeping. :)

Have a great trip!!

All you have to do is strip the bed and put the sheets in the bathtub...they will give you new sheets for sure

never thought to do that - strip the bed & leave in tub - thanks!

heehee, that's clever.
Although, I don't quite understand the original question. Do you change your sheets more than once a week at home?

What didn't you understand about the original question? It was pretty straight forward - what is the norm for how often they change the sheets. What does how often you change your sheets at home have anything to do with how often they are changed at a HOTEL? I'm not paying anyone to make my bed at home either - would you like to know how often I make it? I will be staying in a hotel where I will be paying a pretty high price to use their beds after standing in the hot FL sun for many hours a day. Maybe you might be as fresh as daisy but some of us may not be.

I stayed at the Poly last month for 7 days, and the sheets were not changed. I know because I spilled some diet coke on it. It was there the whole time.

ROTFL:rotfl: :rotfl2:

You rock, it is a good question. I will be putting the sheets in the tub everyday. Let them think my 11 year old is not potty trained, I don't care. Just change the sheets.

I heard it was every 3 days also. I'm pretty sure thats what happened when we were at Pop in December and we were happy. I definitely don't want them changing them every day. That's just over doing it, and why make more work for mousekeeping and wasting all those sheets? Kinda goes with reusing your towels for a few days. :)

Last time we stayed at ASMo (10 nights) we stripped the bed sheets every 2 or 3 days to ensure they'd put fresh ones on, we'd leave the dirty sheets and pillowcases in a pile with all our wet towels from showering.

Are you serious? you need to have fresh sheets every single day? Do you change your sheets at home every day?

I just do it once a week on Saturdays. Maybe you are just joking though?

Here's a thought: Call Housekeeping and ASK to have your sheets changed daily.

eta: Disney's not lazy, they're conserving water and energy (before anybody asks why they don't change the sheets every day. Think about it - potentially upwards of fifty THOUSAND sheets and at least as many towels are likely to be used any given day.

I agree that everyday is a bit excessive. My original question was because I wondered if I could have them changed at least once (or maybe even twice) for an 11 night stay. I don't think that is too much to ask and it sounds like that is what most Disney stays have provided.

IMO once every 3 or 4 days is cool, a week is not cool and 11 days is :scared1:

It would certainly cost quite a bit for Disney to change all of the sheets every day, not to mention the amount of water used to do it. Every 4 days would be about right in my book.

How often they change the sheets seems to be inconsistent at the resorts. We had them changed every 3 nights at Poly.

We change our sheets every 3 days at home too, a week is too long in my house. But I tend to over do it with cleaning.

:thumbsup2 I agree, a week is too long.

We always take our own sheets. The hotel bottom sheet never stays tucked in anyway ( a real pita) and we know all is clean to start with. :goodvibes
