How obvious is the Anna and Elsa M&G queue to a 6 year old?

We have not been in the parks since the princesses and Mickey moved to Main Street.

I'm thinking we won't have our tickets until maybe 10 days before our August trip. Assuming Anna & Elsa continue to have ridiculous lines, and I am unsuccessful at getting FP+ for our group, I'm wondering whether we can move on down the street without too much discussion and little princess drama. Also, can you line up to see other characters nearby without dealing with the A&E crowd?

I know they are in the afternoon parade, but otherwise, on TV in the resorts or in the ubiquitous TV monitors around property, how well promoted is the A&E M&G?

Anna & Elsa as well as Cinderella & Rapunzel now meet in Princess Fairy Tale Hall which is right next to the Carrousel. If you were to go around the carrousel on the Peter Pan side you could avoid walking right next to it. There are signs, but you cannot see the Princesses from outside.

Goodness. I'm so glad I asked. Forgot completely that Fairytale Hall was open. As for the actual queue - would we be able to line up for Rapunzel or Cinderella without too much visual hype over Ana and Elsa?

also wondering this. my 3 year old "is in love" and "need to marry elsa" he will be heart broken if he knows they are there and we are likely not going to be meeting her:sad1:

On the outside of Fairytale Hall there are pictures of which Princesses are visiting that day, so there would be a picture of Anna and Elsa hanging outside.

One side of Fairytale Hall will be for Anna and Elsa and a visiting Princess (if you're looking at the attraction the left side will be where A & E will be.) And the other side- the right side of the attraction (just next to Sir Mickey's) is where Cinderella and Rapunzel will be.)

However, once inside the attraction the queues to the different sides of Fairytale Hall do run side by side as you're waiting to go in to the private princess rooms. This is the portion of the hall where the portraits are hanging. At this time there are not pictures of Anna and Elsa hanging up inside, (just all the other princesses) but it is certainly possible they may hang some up before the 20th when A & E move in. Also, because the lines run side by side (literally with something like a rope between the two lines) no doubt people waiting in the A & E line will be talking about seeing them. And that line may very well be so long it's out of the building, and that could draw some attention. Personally, my opinion is, if you have an observant Princess loving child, and you are in that area in Fantasyland, they will probably pick up on who is there for a meet and greet.

Thank you. That's quite helpful. At least that gives me an idea of what we're up against if there's a worst case scenario and lines out the door.

At turning 6 yo. with increasing maturity as well as mercurial changes in which princess is the favorite, I'm sure how we deal with a potential lack of FP will just depend on the day.

If you are staying on-site and can do a morning EMH go straight to A & E!! They're lots of fun to meet and then it will be the top priority thing (I'm assuming) done first thing!! Even if you don't do EMH just go to PFH at rope drop (if you are a RD family)!!
