How obsessively do you guard your stuff on Castaway Cay?

Never cruised yet but the only valuables I plan on taking is my iphone. Can anyone recommend a waterproof case that is waterproof?

Also do we need IDs at CC? Or can we leave passports on board? We only have those. Will a copy be ok formthe beach?

You will need your Key To The World card (room key) for everyone and photo ID for those over (16 or 18 years old). The KTTW card is a must - to even get off of the ship. I know that a few years ago the Bahamas was planning on starting to check ID's before returning to the ship - but I've not been to CC for several years now.

Bahamas checked out IDs a couple weeks ago before getting back on the ship.

I love all these suggestions! What would you say the best cell phone case to carry with you is? We really only want to take the bare minimum off the ship. I would love to leave phones behind but as someone else said phone= camera.

Just because people have posted that they haven’t had a problem with their stuff being stolen doesn’t mean that that jerk won’t be on your cruise. Don’t leave anything of value unattended.

Just got off the Dream last week. Someone took the raft we rented after we came back from lunch but left the tube....I was pretty aggravated....some people have no clue that you have to pay money to rent those things...whatever.

If they thought the rafts were free they probably would've got one through DCL instead of taking yours. So yeah, they knew they were stealing.
