How Not To Do Disney With A One Year Old - Update 4/17

Holy cow Carla... you've got quite the crowd here already! Including the QUEEN!!! I can hardly believe it! :rotfl2:

Looking forward to the good, bad and the ugly. But mostly the good! :goodvibes

Awe!!! I am so glad that you can still see the magic in the middle of the disaster though! We took our ODD at 2.5 and it was PERFECT, so hopefully your next trip will be better! ::yes::

We are planning at trip for when my YDD is 19 months old.:duck: Fingers crossed!

I thought I'd lost you! LOL. I knew you'd started a TR, but I guess it's buried because I couldn't find it. So I went back to your PTR and found the link there.

I hate that you all got sick on your trip, but I still look forward to reading about it. Don't keep us waiting too long!

I was MIA for a couple days so I thought I might have missed something...:rolleyes1 hehehehe can't wait to read more

Joining in Carla! He looks like he was at least a happy baby that first night. I followed along on Facebook a bit. Can't wait to hear the actually accounts. Not just the random facebook updates about what happened!

Hey girl!!

Can't wait for another update :goodvibes

Hope you are all okay and just been busy! Looking forward to an update! *hint hint* lol :goodvibes

Sorry I have been MIA y'all! I wanted to get this TR done fast but then my Mom got sick and I had to stay home with Alex and it's just been crazy busy, one thing after another since then. We ordered a new bed from sleep number and have been painting our bedroom to get ready for it. It's been nuts but this next week should be a lot more calm so I promise, if I don't get an update up this weekend, it will be up on Monday :goodvibes

Hey, girl! I know, I haven't logged in since January, but I have some free time now. I couldn't get back to sleep after the kids went to school, and I need something other than facebook to pass the time. But...I'm here, and look what I finally have...A TICKER!! I haven't had one of those down there for awhile!

would make a good TAG wouldn't it? LMAO!!!!!!

I'm still alive!!!! Sorry I abandoned y'all for a while. Life was just SO crazy for quite some time but it seems to be slowing down now so I thought I'd swing by here and give y'all another update if anyone is still even here.

Day 2

We didn't do much on this day. It was Friday and this was the original day we were planning on driving down. We decided to go and check out the breakfast at the Best Western before checking out. It was ok I guess. I got some eggs, Chris had some eggs and pancakes and Alex had fruit and a Mickey waffle.

The service was good and they loved talking to Alex and making him smile Once we were done with breakfast we decided to check out and we headed over to POFQ to see if we could check in early but our room wasn't ready yet. They went ahead and gave us our keys and room assignment though and said they would text us when the room was ready.

After that we went to DTD to kill time while we waited on our room

After the pin hut and walking around for a bit we decided to have lunch at EOS since we had never eaten there before and they had just opened so there was no line! Score!! Chris had the Italian, Alex had the grilled cheese (which he didn't like because it wasn't the bread he's used to) and I had a plain turkey sandwich.

We went to the emporium of course and noticed they put in a special place just for Chris :rotfl:

And then Alex passed out in the stroller  I have to say, for those of you looking for a stroller for Disney, this one is PERFECT!!! It was easy to get on and off the trams and it's SO easy to fold and it's super light weight. Alex also LOVED it and falls asleep in it regularly still! We are getting rid of our other stroller since we love this one so much. I HIGHLY recommend it!! This was the one good thing I brought for this trip that actually worked out the way I expected it to.

I finally talked Chris into partaking in the vinylmation stuff. I have to admit, it's fun. Here he is opening it

After that we sat outside for a while and then finally decided to go back to the car and once we did Chris got the text for the room. We went and unpacked everything and got the room set up. I think we had dinner at Boatwright's that night. No pictures but it was DELICIOUS as usual!

Up next, day 3....our first day at the parks and the turn for the worst.....:headache:

Well, I lied, there were a few picture from Boatwrights.

And Alex eating his meal (sidenote: never sit a toddler next to the wall at a restaurant unless you want to have to clean the wall after the meal)

Yay an update!

So I have a few comments/questions.

Can you not pick what Vinylmation you want? It’s like a surprise when you buy it??

What did you think of EoS? Or I SHOULD say what did CHRIS think?, Miss plain turkey. :rotfl2: I absolutely LOVE EoS! Such a shame that it just isn’t that kid-friendly I guess. That grilled cheese just wasn’t a plain enough grilled cheese for a toddler!

I REALLY wish they made that stroller in more “girly” colors. I would go with black but that just seems HOT.

I guess I’m a bit out of order, LOL, but who took the pic of you three at the pin traders?

I wish I could say I’m looking forward to actual PARK time but I hate that it started off bad!
