Just after I booked HRH, DH and DS said that RPR Jurassic Park kid suite will be fun. :(

We stayed at HRH previously and loved the short walk to Universal Studios. I understand from checking the map that RPR is nearer to IOA, on the opp side of Citywalk from HRH. Can anyone advise how long or short is the walk from RPR to IOA? Is it similar to HRH's distance from US?

Can anyone advise if you like the kid suite at RPR? The website does not have much photo of the pool. Can anyone advise what the pool at RPR is like?

Thanks everyone. Sorry if these question had previously been asked.

Thanks Mac and Bluer. :thanks: :)

I just saw a review on tripadvisor that the kids suite in RPR are all next to the elevator and one hears the elevator 'ding' the whole night! Oh dear! :(

Wondering if anyone here has similar experience. If that is really the case, then I'll definitely persuade the boys to stick to our HRH deluxe room.

trip advisor said that?

i stay at rph and have always had the king suite.
(this is 2 rooms but only can book 3 in that suite.)

king suite is the first room on the right when you get off the elevator.

on the other side of that hall, there are some suites but not at the very end.
first room on the left side is a storage room.
then you have rooms.

i have not heard the ding ding.

if your door is open you will hear the elevator ding but not with your door closed.

what you can hear is when a family is waiting for the elevator and the parents let their kids stand outside that first door in the hallway by the elevator, screaming and banging on doors.

but worse than screaming kids is the newspaper situation!

since my room is the first door after you leave the elevator section, peeps always steal my morning paper.
by the time i get up, the front desk is out of the one i want so they can't replace it!

i find that more annoying than anything.....

Yes! One of the reviewers apparrently had this bad experience.

But frankly the newspaper situation is terrible! Some people are so cheap, they even have to steal papers...sigh! How much can newspapers cost!!

Will discuss with the family., so that if we do decide on the family suite, we will be prepared and no one can complain :)

i have been in tower 1 and 3.

tower 3 is where i have stayed the past years.

T1 also had the king suite set up near the elevator also.

don't know if Tower 2 has the same set up for the room types near the elevator.

thought i would come back to add that info so not to cause any problems for those wanting to book at a different tower.
