How much would you pay for a night in the Castle Suite?

Serious question, within the constraints of your budget. Would you, for example, cut a seven-day trip down to a three-day trip if it meant you could spend one night in the Castle?

I think I could be convinced to go up to the $1500 range (but for me it would not be an add on, but, as I suggest above, offset by skimping on other parts of the vacation). I suppose I could afford more, but at some point I'd start to think too much about how ridiculous that amount is for just one night.

For some reason, I don't like the idea of the castle being turned into a hotel.

Assuming I'm lucky enough to stay with TWDC until I retire (19 years to go!), I'd honestly forgo the first six months of my pension for a single night in the Castle Suite, given how rare it is to be able to stay there and how badly I want to do it just once.

I believe the Poly Bungalows average over $2500/night so you're looking at quite a bit more than that. I'm not sure what I'd be willing to pay but it would be very expensive and still be booked up.

Just a regular room at one of the monorail hotels is routinely $600-$700/ni. Not sure how many people the castle can accommodate but the cabins, bungalows and grand villas are upwards of $2k + per night. $1500 is wishful thinking...

There is literally no price for this... if they switched tactics and made it $10K a night, I bet it would be booked solid.

But as with everything WDW, I’m sure there is a price... I imagine if you offered WDW $50K or $100K for one night they would do it.

How much would you be willing to pay to stay in the castle suite (and we're assuming in this hypothetical that it is available and Disney takes your offer).

Now, if you had access to after hours solo time in the park, that’d be another thing But since you’re basically put on lockdown from close to open I don’t think I’d really care to waste money on it.

I think what some are saying (or if not, what I am saying ) it really doesn't matter what you are willing to pay. If the castle was put on the open market, chances are that there would be lines of people willing to pay more than the average Disboarder ever would be able to pay. There are hotel rooms out there that go for $10K, $20K, $50k+ a night. They are booked solid. So quite frankly most of us have a better chance of sleeping there in a random give away than we ever would renting the room.

Understood, and I suppose it's the nature of message boards, but I didn't ask, "what would market price be if Disney rented the Castle suite."

I legitimately wanted to know how much of people's travel budget they'd be willing to part with.

Well, depending on how things go with the economy over the next couple decades, it might be literally nothing! But yeah, it theoretically could be a lot. To put an actual dollar amount on it, my D23 trip this past summer ran in the $5,000 range once accounting for flight, resort, dining, drinks, merch (lots of merch... probably too much honestly), and that was with a CM discount. I'd consider that the floor of what I'd expect to pay for a single night in the Castle Suite, and honestly if offered, I'd jump on it immediately.

Agreed ... then I might do a year or two's travel budget. I mean just to sleep in the bed ... if we say I already have stayed at a deluxe with seven people, I guess that means my normal travel budget is okay with at least $2000 a night. I could easily see hypothetically going up to $5000 for a night. I hypothetically wouldn't give anything up for that one night. Now if you threw in some legit perks ... I could give up my normal Disney budget for a year at least, so hypothetically $25K.

So to the OP my hypothetical, it will never happen, answer is somewhere between $5k-$25k.
