How much would you pay for a basket of blackberries? (updated)

That's very cheap for blackberries. I live in Missouri and fresh blackberries are $10 per quart or $7.50 per pound.

I live in Missouri and have grown berries for my families personal use most of 30 years. When on sale in store (couple times a year) they are $3 per pint. Otherwise they are usually twice that. I don't know if it's the area we live or what but never see them that cheap.

Maybe they just seem so cheap because this was posted 7 years ago.

Don't know about the zombie thread but it's made me very happy with my cheap fruit - blackberries & raspberries are $2 for 6 oz near me!

They are around $4 for a 6oz. plastic box at the grocery store. Berries are very expensive up here.

got me, I didn't catch that it was an old thread. I was too busy reminiscing about my childhood going in the woods with my sister and picking blackberries so my mother would make us a pie, great memories
