How much would this cab ride cost?

Hi all,

As it says in my siggy, my best friend and I will be in the World next Nov, WOOHOO, and I noticed that there is a free shuttle from the Downtown Disney hotels to the Lake Buena Vista factory outlet, and I was just wondering, how much would a round trip cab ride run from there, over to Universal City Walk and back? I was looking at a towncar for our shopping excurison, as we won't have a car (don't have license), and wanted to have lunch there and a bit of shopping.

Also, how easy is it to walk from the Downtown Disney bus stop to the hotels there?

Lastly, is the outlet mall within walking distance (and walkable) to the Publix?

Sorry, don't know the answer to your question but I never knew about the free shuttle do you know where to pick it up in DTD?

They'll pick you up at any of the Hotel Plaza hotels. Hey, can't complain about that, and the mall has a Disney Character store too.

Across the street from the outlet mall is a Super Walmart with grocery store! If you don't want to walk across the highway, you can cab from outlet mall for $4 or $5 ! There is also alot of inexpensive Disney products / clothes. They even sell Disney pins for under $5

I use the cab and then cab back to the outlet mall and catch the shuttle back to the hotel. Much cheaper. To take a cap to the outmall mall it is about $22 one way!

When we stayed at the Hilton, we were required to show our room key to get on the bus.

Why not take the WDW bus to DTD and grab a cab from there to the outlets, shouldn't be more than about $10 each way.

From the outlets to City Walk is probably $15-20 each way.

All of those are plus tip.
