Tommarrow is DD's birthday. She wants to go to the Rainforest Cafe for Lunch. How much will be be spending? We are a family of 3. Obviously, DD orders off the childrens menu. I am planning on just mozzerella sticks, since early that morning I have a big breakfast before school at IHOP planned with her. And DH would be the only one ordering off the Big Boy menu. (LOL) Also she wanted a Volcano Cake.
I tryed to look up prices online, but not having any luck. Can anyone help me out? Trying to budget the day a bit tommarrow.

I don't think it will be to much. The last time i ate there, it was $130 for 5 people. 3 adults and 2 kids.

The serving sizes are huge, you'd easily be able to share.

I'd be more worried about the gift shop;) . Usually keep my youngest happy with the child's souvieneer cup (pic of the frog on it); uses it every day:thumbsup2

Rainforest Cafe is pretty reasonable and have great portion sizes. Well worth the price. I always get in trouble with the specialty drinks that come in the flashing cups:rotfl:

We have never been to RC either. We have ressies at AK in June. I heard that they give huge portions. There are 5 of us. I was planning on getting 3 meals and an appetizer for us to share. It will be HOT in FL which makes your appetite slow down a bit. Plus, I am a VERY light eater, so I hope this will be enough food. If not, we always have Mickey bars!!!!

If you have a RFC near you it would probably be worth it to join safari club. Safari club costs $14.99 and you get a card that gives you priority seating and free app.,10% off of merchandise every time you go.They will also send you coupons throughout the year and the card is good forever. I Have RFC about 50 min. away that we have only eaten there 2 in 2 years, but the price of the card was worth just to get the priority seating. When we went in DTD, I showed my card and was seated in 10 when there was a 45 min. wait, and you if you sign up tommorrow the will give you a temp. card and you will be able to get the free app. that visit. It's a great program just ask the hostess to sign up for it. HTH

We went to Rainforest Cafe in Chicago recently and the volcano thingie was $7.95 I believe, but it's huge, enough for you three then some!! The appetizers seemed to be a bit overpriced to me, but not too bad....the food is not the best, but good, it's definately all about the atmosphere!!!

Have fun!! I wish we had one closer.

We have a RFC about 20 minutes or so away and I like to go there for my birthday.. the volcano is huge!! Your DD will love it.. :goodvibes

I also joined the Safari club and it was the best money spent.. You get a free appetizer or 10% off the ticket minus alcohol and % of in the souvenir store.. also they send me certificates a few times a year.. we are headed back to WDW next month and I just got a $10 certificate to use that expires on our last night there so we're gonna head that way for a meal..

Prices are a little high but the portions are huge..
