DH who is near retiring gets 29 vacation days and has 16 holidays built into the calendar, including always, the week between Christmas and New Years. We consider ourselves very lucky on that score.
I work p/t so vacations come to me between college quarters and for many summers, I work 1-5 week session. I like to get paid something during the summer, and the 5 weeks still gives me enough time to go to Cape May. DH isn't crazy about it there, so he comes for about a week, I stay longer.

PS. ALBA your country has the right attitude regarding time-off for people!

Every day is a vacation day!

The Brits truly know how to "Holiday" for an extended period of time! When they leave for WDW (or other locations) they would not even consider a week/two as being a vacation. Most of the Europeans we have met at WDW during our visits, are there for 4-6 weeks!
DD plans to make three trips to/from per year. The adventure continues!
