How much to upgrade 2 day ticket to 3 day and can you do that at the park?

My son will be at Universal on a field trip and my family will also be there. His field trip ticket will be for 2 days in the parks, but we have already cleared it with his principal and teacher to get him when field trip is over because we will stay an extra day. How much would it be to just upgrade his ticket to an extra day? I don't want to have to buy a 1 day ticket for him because I have already paid for his first 2 days. Can you upgrade in the park before you leave? Thanks!!

It's only about $15.00 more to upgrade from the two day to the three day so you would pay whatever the difference is and yes...you can upgrade at either park. Just make sure you upgrade before leaving on the second day.

to add on to what Metro stated, if you leave the park before you upgrade, it can't be done at the guest service outside the park.

use the guest service inside the park to upgrade the ticket either on the first day or second day of usage.
