If you are willing to share, I wonder what is customary for a tip at the valet garage for the parks (not resort). Thanks!

i have never used valet parking.

hopefully others that have will post what they did.

Because we will have the premier pass we are thinking that we might as well use the valet see it's free. We typically never use valet anywhere!

:confused3 5-6 bucks :confused3

We stay onsite and have not used valet......hope someone can give you a better idea.

I usually give $2.00 each time I drop off the car. I have used valet at the US hotels.

Do you tip again when you pick up the car. Usually whenever I valet a car I always tip on the pick up...

Among many jobs I have had in my lifetime and a valet was one of them and the most typical person would tip when picking up the car and if it works like it did when I did it which was many moons ago :lmao: we used to put all the tips together and split them at the end of the day and people use to tip $5.00 to $10.00

I only use valet service when forced to by hotel parking policies. My understanding has always been that you tip only at pickup and $2 - $3 is pretty typical.

DS20 got a summer job at a nearby Hilton as a valet and the tips are all over the place. Many people tip nothing at either end. Many tip very generously. He also (surprisingly) gets tips sometimes when he doesn't even park or deliver a car. When he works the night shift, there is no bellman on duty in the wee hours of the night, so people ask him things. He knows the area pretty well and has learned the answers to the typical questions that he didn't know. He has enjoyed the job.

I've always thought $2 was standard and give $1 at drop off and one at pick up. Sure hope I'm not giving too little as we use it all the time since we are Premier.
