We have not been to Sea World for many years, in fact DD is 8 and has never been. She absolutely loves animals and wants to go this year. I am planning our days and I'm not really sure what kind of time we need to plan for SW. We are planning to go on Tuesday, July 31st. How much time should we plan to devote to the park?

We will probably do everything, but just in case what are the not to be missed attractions? What are the night time activites like? From what I have seen it will probably be a complete day but I hate not having a break from the park in the afternoon heat. Anyone have any ideas on getting out of the heat for a while? What about places to eat?

TIA,

Night time normally you be able to see all the shows then, and be able to be the activites during the day, as normally your'll be able form around 5pm ish, to be able to see Blue Horizons (dolphins), Cylde and Seamore (sealions), Shamu Rocks (Shamu, killer Whales), then the fireworks, there planned so it gives you time to get to amd from stadiums in time to see the shows, so then during the day, you can do the rides (wild Artic, Kraken and Kourney to Altantis), and all the Animals attractions

Sea World is a complete day. Try to be there at opening, you can have more animal interaction early in the day. Around noon things get super busy,we've always enjoyed the shows during the day and the rides at night except for Shamu rocks which I think may be another show now. We go to SW everytime we're in Orlando, my youngest are 19 and 15 and SW is still a must for them.

We went to Sea World last year for the first time in ages. Our favorite thing was the dolphin feeding area. We spent almost an hour just there. You have to see the Otter and Sea Lion show, it is just hysterical and of course Shamu. DS does not like fireworks (too loud for him) so we didn't stay for their fireworks/laser show, but I hear it is fabulous. They also Have Shamu's Happy Harbour which is an area with 5 or 6 kids rides, carousel, a drop ridem and a pairate ship that just opens this year as wll has a tea cup ride, and Shamu's Roller Coast (along the lines of goofy's barnstormer) I think there is also a playground type area with rope bridges, etc. We arrived at approx. 3:00pm in the afternoon and pretty much saw all the shows and DS was able to ride all of the rides. Enjoy!
