If we don't do the coasters, but are only interested in the shows and the animal exhibits, how long will it take to do the park? Is there a suggested touring plan anywhere? We have never done Sea World before.

It took our family one and 1/2 days to fit in all of the attractions, shows, rides and revisit our favorite attactions. We did this at a very leisurely rate. Day 1 we started when the park opened and stayed until it closed. Day 2 we got a later start and went back to our hotel by 6 pm.

A day and a half should be plenty of time. We usually can cover it in a day, but that is only seeing things once. There are times that I like to revisit a favorite and that adds to the time. It is worth it!!

We stayed a day and half but left middle of first day and went back to hotel for nap and pool.

We will go back again to visit some special attractions!!!!

And things we skimmed over.

ONE HINT i learned first time around, go the the artic thing beside shamu show while there is show going on!!!!! OUr wait was 5 minutes when show let out it went up to almost a half hour!!!

The coasters don't take that long and you can do them first thing when you arrive. Try to show park at 08:30am, and be there when they play the national anthem at 9am. Kracken and JTA are in the back of the park to the left. You can usually get them done, then head to the first show.

Eat lunch at 11:30am to beat the crowd. Even if you are not hungry, you will be when you sit down and start eating.

On the Polar Bear tour, do the walk thru and not the ride. It's a simulator that makes some people sick. You'll see the exact same movie.

When we went last year we arrived at approximately 3:30 and saw all of the shows and exhibits, as well as the couple of rides in Shamu's happy harbor for DS. There are 6 rides there now, only 4 last year. We stayed to see the last Shamu show of the evening, but becasue DS does not like fireworks(too loud) we went through the shops and left. I believe that night they closed at 10:00.

Thanks for the touring tips! jcc0621 what time of year did you go? It sounds like you covered alot of ground! I'm assuming you only did rides for hte little ones? No headliner rides?

We did this I would recommend it to you and everyone else. Do the SeaWorld Adventure Express 6 hour tour. Ours lasted more like 7 1/2 hours. You get VIP access to everything. Yes it's not cheap but I think the money we spent was well worth it. You get a tour guide for the day and all the stuff you want to do anyway and have to pay for like feeding the animals is included in the price plus you get to do stuff and see stuff the general public there doesn’t get to do. When you get to the rides on the tour you get to ride them, no waiting. Lunch next to shamu’s tanks was incredible. We had the best day there.

We go at the end of August. We only have one DS (He will be 4 at the time our trip this year) so yes, we didn't do the big rides, but were able to spend over an hour at Shamu's Happy Harbour
