How much time to allow...???

We have a few dinner reservations that we're trying to plan the rest of our schedule around. The one reservation I'm most concerned about is Chef Mickey's Dinner (6:30). When will we need to leave either MK or Pop? When could we expect to be back to MK if we chose to go back after dinner? Could we make it back in time for Wishes at 9:00? Could we view Wishes from the Contemporary or somewhere else?

How long should we allow just for the meals at:
The Crystal Palace (breakfast 8:20am)
Cinderella's Royal Table (lunch 11:50am)
Hollywood & Vine (lunch 12:40pm)
Plaza Restaurant (lunch 1:05pm)
Tony's Towne Square (dinner 5:30pm)

These are the reservations I have now, but I will probably cancel at least two. Btw, our trip is next week (arriving 9/7) so hopefully the crowds will be low.

Thanks so much!!

Contemporary is an easy 10 minute walk from the magic kingdom...about the same time it would take for the monorail as well....

pop will take you about an hour on a bad day...as you need to get the bus and then get to the front of magic kingdom for a transfer.

doesn't seem like you'd have much of a problem either way from your itinerary

If coming from POP, leave there 1 hour prior to your ADR time at Chef Mickey's. If coming from MK and you plan to walk to the CR, you should be walking out the entrance about 20 minutes before your ADR.

I definitely think you will be able to go back to MK to watch Wishes. Even if you took 1.5 hours at dinner, that's still plenty of time to get back in. And you could watch from the CR - there is a 4th floor observation deck.

How long you want to allow for meals depends on you. For the character meals, you need to allow an hour, because that's generally how long it takes for all the characters to make their way round to your table.

For the non-character meals, it might be possible to take less than hour. Depends on how many courses you order and how busy the restaurant is. I like the linger over my meals, so I generally take longer than most people. If you're someone who likes to jump up and go as soon as you're finished, then you can get out quicker.
