I've never been before but my mother and I are going for 4 nights and 5 days in May. How much time do I need to devote to seeing all the displays? I want to start and plan my days and I want to be sure that I allow plenty of time to just stroll along and see everything.

The displays and topiaries, ect...for the Festival aren't seperate or in their own area, they are spread out all through Epcot, in Future World and the World Showcase. There are also some extras like Minnie's butterfly house (small) and a children's garden and playarea. Also there is an indoor area by Mouse Gear that has some crafts, gardening information and Flower and Garden Festival Merchadise.

You might want to add a little extra time, but it shouldn't take all that much longer to see the displays than it would to see Epcot in general.

It really depends on how much you like gardening and how much time you want to invest in the Flower and Garden Festival. In addition to the displays throughout Epcot, there are daily seminars with gardening celebrities/experts and each weekend has a special theme and accompanying activities. There also are free nightly Flower Power Concerts in the America Gardens Theatre featuring various rock and roll performers from the '60s and '70s. Read a more comprehensive description here.
