How much time for Animal Kingdom

How long does it typically take to tour AK? We are not riding EE, tough to be a bug, or Kali Rapids. Thanks!

For me all day, I like to take DAK really slow and pat all the animals at the affection section... and learn about the animals at Rafiki's planet watch... and hopefully catch a check up throught the glass...

Some people say 1/2 day is plenty... some say 1, 2 or more days.

It depends on the personality of your party...

Do you like to linger while looking at animals or do you walk through exhibits without slowing down? Which of the shows would you like to watch (though there is now one less)? Do you want to watch the parade? Do you want atmosphere or action? Do you have little kids that will want to meet the characters (there seem to be a lot near the entrance, Stitch and Lilo are often at the store where you turn left for Camp Minnie-Mickey, plus the designated character greeting area outside Festival of the Lion King)?

When my family went 2 years ago, we only spend 1/2 day at the park and felt like that was enough. Last year we spend the whole day there and slowly enjoyed every inch of the park. It was wonderful!! We fill like we missed sooooo much the year before. Can't wait till this Year!!!!!

I think it takes a full day, although not a long one, to really see AK. Especially if you're going to do Pangani, Maharaja (?), Rafiki's Planet Watch and visit the characters on top of the rides and shows. Now that our new favorite ride at WDW is at AK, we were there two days on our recent vacation.

It really depends how much time you are going to spend enjoying the trails, if at all. It is just my husband and I and we do two half days and take our time with the Discovery Trails and the Gorilla Trail and the Tiger Trail and the Oasis. We do the safari, dino, rapids, flights of wonder and now ee as well as prime evil whirl.

...and visit the characters on top of the rides and shows.

I just love climbing up on top of the rides and meeting the characters.

I don't know how they get so many UP there!
