How much time for a Character Breakfast

Thinking of booking a character meal at PCH Grill before catching our flight. How much time does a character meal generally take?

Usually 45min to an hour once you are seated..but I would budget 1.5 hours as you don't always get seated right away and sometimes it is more relaxed.

It is a buffet however, so you can scarf and run at any time and be in and out as fast as you want.

We try to allow 1.5 hours. Not so much for eating but for the Character experiences.
It's nice to not rush through a CB. Taking time to interact with the characters can take time.

This is SOOOOOO helpful, THANK YOU! I think we'll be forced to get a 7am reservation and even so, I fear that may be cutting it close, because I believe our flight leaves at 11:50am out of LAX. Was planning on doing this one because we'll be staying at PPH and it has Mickey, but do you think it would be wiser to do a character dinner at Goofys or someplace else? I generally don't love buffet dinners.....

The only character breakfast that isn't a buffet is Ariel's. That one has a small menu.

We stay just over an hour to see characters and get food. I would say that with just a few characters coming to the table, it's really going to be as long as it takes you to eat.

Hi, We just got back from our trip. We did the breakfast at PCH and were easily done in about an hour. Except we (and the table next to us) had not seen Pluto. We asked our server and they had the character lead come over to our table to let us know Pluto wouldn't be out again for 20 minutes. We chatted with the CM for awhile about a variety of things and he told us that they expect that people will be at their table for 90 minutes. We have been to multiple character meals - and I think we almost always get out of there closer to an hour - but I thought it was interesting to hear about how it all works.

We always allow 90 minutes. Sometimes we are out within 60 minutes, sometimes it takes the full hour and a half. It depends on how many characters are at the meal and if they are on a break when you start the meal or if the characters take a break half way through your meal. We allow the maximum time so we don't feel rushed or stressed.
