How much time at Harry Potter?

We are thinking about tacking on a little extra time in Orlando before our Disney package begins, because it's soooo much cheaper to fly in a day earlier. We are interested in experience WWoHP, but our flight doesn't land until 1 PM. This will be summer, so I'm thinking the park will be open late? If we get to the park around 3, will that give us enough time to enjoy all of the attractions at Harry Potter?

Times are only posted until March - but even by then they are open until 9:00. Six hours would do for WWOHP. Line ups are reported to be shorter in the evenings. Ride wise, there really isn't that much to do in WWOHP; FJ, Flight Of The Hippogryph (sp?), and Duelling Dragons. If you want to do all of IOA, you might be hard pressed to ride everything you want in 6 hours however, there is a lot to do in the whole park.

I agree with pp- you should be able to see and do all of HP in that amount of time. Even in the past year the waits for the HP rides have gone down significantly. We were there in 2010 and waits were up to 3 hrs. long at peak times in the day. In August I never saw more than 90 min.
Later towards closing you may not have to wait very long.
FYI- WWoHP is not very big at all.

WWOHP is part of Islands of Adventure. It is similar to Fantasyland, Adventureland, etc. in Magic Kingdom in the sense that it is a small part of the entire park. You should be able to finish WWOHP in 6 hours but you won't we able to finish Islands of Adventure. If you want to finish more of the park I would suggest buying the Express Pass. If ranges in price depending on the time of year but it get you to the front of the line for all rides except for 2 or so. If you want more details about it I would go to universals website.
