How much storage space under the bed?

I've read that there is room for you to store your luggage under the bed. I was wondering if anyone knew how much space. I have a very large suitcase that would be perfect to bring on this trip. However if it doesn't fit under the bed, it's going to take up quite a bit of space sitting in the middle of my room. Does anyone know how many inches the bed frame sits off the floor?

I don't know the exact dimensions of under bed space. However, if you are FLYING to Orlando - you need to make sure your very large suitcase doesn't weigh more than 50 pounds or you'll pay a lot more money to check it.

It depends on which ship you are on. The Dream has a great deal of space under the bed, so many have stored their luggage under the bed.

On the Magic, there is no storage, so we had ours set between the closet and the steamer trunk.

On the Dream there was tons of room under the bed (I had two large suitcases and 3 carry ons under there and there was still room) plus whatever closet space/drawer space is in your stateroom. I agree that if you can get in on the plane under 50 lbs, you probably will have room for it...

Not sure what room you were in on the Magic, but we have been able to store luggage under the bed. You lift up from the bottom of the bed. We have been able to store rolling carryons and a folding umbrella stroller with no problem. Our larger suitcase 22"H x 14½"W x 9½"D fit with one of the carryons nested inside.

No question that the beds on the Dream are higher. However, we always store our suitcases under the bed on the Magic. You lift the edge of the bed frame and slide the suitcase under.

We were on the Dream and we were able to fit our large suitcase under until of course I started filling it all back up. :) Luckily that was only for dinner and was able to get it in there. :) We also had a roller carry on that we fit as well and I think we could have fit one more suitcase (we were only on a three night.)

ON the Magic I was able to fit 3 suitcases under the bed (yes, you have to lift up the bottom of the bed because there is a ridge that hangs down so it SEEMS like there's only a few inches, but actually quite a bit of room), but my super duper bit suitcase was too fat. I stored it upright in the back of the closet beneath our hanging shirts and blouses, and there was plenty of room left......

I should have given more information in my first post...... We are cruising on the Dream, and we're already in Florida (starting our vacation early) So we're driving over from where we are currently staying. It's one of those hard-sided suitcases that we wouldn't be able to squish it in a small space.... and it's pretty wide.

If it's too big you can always leave the suitcase open and slide it under the bed with the other suitcases stacked inside it, also opened.
I have hard sided as well, and didn't have a problem though
