How Much Sleep?

yeah, we are off season folks and we tend to be in bed about 10pm. The exception to that might be the night we stay for illuminations. But we were usually back to the resort by 9pm. There were a couple nights we got back about 8pm when the MK closed at 7. We hit the arcade for a bit, or took a quick swim if it was warm enough then climbed into bed and watched TV and the kids (14 & 4 years) would fall right to sleep!! Also our alarm wake up call was set for the same time everyday 7:00am.

I really like the parks closing early as long as there are not big crowds and we can still get everything done during the shorter hours. This gives us some time to relax at the hotel in the evening without that feeling that we are missing out on something!

We were in bed by 11 and up by 7 at the latest each morning, with a good nap in the afternoon. Our 2-yo can't make it without the nap, he sleeps 3-4 hours a day, and he won't nap in the stroller. 4-yo needed the nap too, he didn't use a stroller at all, and mommy and daddy needed the nap as much, if not more than they did.

Sleep....isn't that what the Hall of Presidents and the American Adventure are for?

I have even seen people sleeping in the hotel lobby.

A group of us were at Wilderness Lodge one time, and were tempted to sit in between a dozing couple and take pictures.

Alas, there just wasn't enough room between 'em to squeeze in.
That would be hilarious. Especially if you could print out a picture and leave one between them...:rotfl2:

Sacriledge! :rotfl2: My DH fell asleep in American Adventure on our honeymoon. :rotfl2:

We are both light sleepers AND need 8 hours, so by the end of the week at WDW we are DRAGGING. In fact, both of us fell asleep the other day on Carousel of Progress!! Pitiful, I know.

I average like 6 hours.... never get tired though.

Very interesting you mentioned this! Due to the extremely comfortable bed and pillows at Pop last week, I slept - get this - 12 hours! I didn't get up until 12:30 in the afternoon! But then again, I play solo, and sometimes do 3-4 parks a day - just because I can! Sure felt great after that sleep. I figured, hey, I'm on vacation - guess I needed it! :rotfl:
