How much should I tip my cleaning women for Christmas?

For a second I thought this post might be about how to clean a woman, and I was hoping it was going to be satire.

I've read that the general rule is 1 week's service for people whose service you use every 1-2 weeks.

That's what I've heard too:thumbsup2

I've always heard the 1 session tip, and to me that is just crazy. I don't get one week's bonus at my job for christmas (corporate accountant). Heck, they even took our Christmas party away this year and we had one of the most profitable years in 20 years :confused3

I have an independent woman that cleans for me. I am leaving her a $25 gift card to a restaurant I know she likes. I have had 3 cleaning people over the years, and did something similar for all of them. Both of my prior cleaning ladies told me I was the only one out of all their clients that thought of them at the holidays and thanked me profusely.

My thoughts exactly. I plan on giving each one of my cleaning ladies an extra $30-40 each and leaving it at that.
