How much trouble is it to change rooms? We arrive Sat, May 11, check into a 1 bdrm at BWV, check out and into a studio on Sun, May 12, into a 1 bdrm May 13 and back into a studio on Thur, May 16. We have been wait listed since Feb 1 but I'm not holding out much hope of getting the 1 bdrm the whole time.

Also, we are getting the Ultimate Hopper Pass when we check in - will changing rooms affect our pass?

Thanks

okay I am different but I like to change rooms but your schedule is rather bad. However don't give up hope - sometimes when you check in the front desk will change you -

the bell service will move your luggage - so you can go to the parks - but unpacking and packing 4 times won't be fun - do you have a little suitcase or bag that you can pack for the lst night and wash out in the 1-bedroom for the finally night - that might made it easier on you.

I am assuming this is all one reservations - if it is then you won't have a problem - but with changing units - call MS and make sure that they link all the reservations so you won't have a problem with your passes.

You will have to have to have new key cards made for each change. Your uph will be on the first card and you will need to keep that for your length of stay. So the hassle is remembering which is the UPH and which is the room key/charge card. You can just mark the first card in someway to identify it. You have to be out at 11:00 and can't check in until 4 so if you have a child who needs to nap, it's also a pain. You can leave your bags with the bellman and access them at anytime if you want to swim. Hopefully something will be open when you get there- and you won't have to change.

Thanks Spiceycat! This is our first time using our points so I'm a little green. I'm assuming it's all one reservation - I'll call and make sure. Do we have to go down to the desk and actually check-in and check-out each time. I'd be happy to get the 1 bdrm for the Sun and wouldn't mind changing on Thurs. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Thanks again!

The 30 day period is coming up next week, that's when someone is more likely to cancel so that their points don't go into holding, so you still have hope. I think the waitlist ends at 30 days, so you'll need to contact member services about it.

Yes you do need to go down and get a new card for each move. Make sure you are on a 7 day wait list, instead of the 30 day. They will keep you on the list until 1 week before. After that you can call every day and check as the wait list stops at tht point

If you use a credit card and ask for express check out - no you don't have to check out - but check in is necessary to get your new room key - sorry.

Check your bill it will be delivery to your door before 8:00am and make sure it is right-some people have had problems.

It sounds like you're at BWV the whole time. In that case it may be easier each day you have to 'check-out' to just go to the front desk and 'check-in' for your new room. It will not be available, but they will give you your new key and all the 'regular' check-in stuff right then. (Since you really wouldn't need the whole welcome home packet, you can just decline all that and help save a tree). They will give you a telephone number to call after 4:00 so you can get your room number. Then you're all set to go straight to the room.

But don't give up on that wait-list just yet.
