How much money to take?

As you can all see I am new here so i have alot of questions. First of all we are going to Disney on Feb 14th-21st (yeh I know we're a bunch of bananas but what can I say). How much money (cash or travelers checks) do you take with you. We are on the Dining Plan so most of our meals are paid for. What do you budget per day?

We carry very little cash,most of the time.If you are on dining plan I would carry very little.You can charge the mugs,t-shirts and other items you want to your room.We stay for seven days in early December each year and spend about a $100.00 a day on gifts for Christmas and folks back home.That is for DW and I.

Last year I only spent about $500.00 for a 7 night trip for a family of 4 and about $150.00 was on souvenirs.

We bring almost no cash. Just credit cards. Son wanted to start a pressed penny/quarter collection, and we had to "buy" money at a gift shop.
