How much is your 2016 Disney vacation going to cost you?

2 adults 2kids
10 nights CSR
10 day park hooper
Disney dining plan
$4300

RT Air and 10 day rental car
$1200

MVMCP
$400 I think

EMM at magic kingdom
279

Total
$6k+

For this length of trip I don't think this is horrible. Only real issue is we don't want to stay at CSR. We really wanted POR RR room.

Total $5154 plus food (TBD)

We booked very last minute so airfare was $$$$

1 adult
1 almost adult DD17
10 nights at ASM

Airfare $747 SW from Vegas

Budgeting
$1600 for food and spending money

I started this thread and although my original estimate can't be found I know our cost now is vastly different. We were originally going in May for 7 nights at CBR and it was going to be somewhere around 1,900 plus flights and food for the 5 of us. Our adoption took longer and so we had to push the trip back to October which made us buy an extra park ticket and plane ticket because of age changes. We decided to take my mom, and unexpected refund for a different vacation allowed us to extend our trip.
So....without further ado....
It is me, dh, my mom, and our kids 6, 3, and 2.
October 20-30, 2016
Flights for 6 from IND
$640ish...parents graciously gifted us their points as adoption gift so paid about 35 in fees
3 nights at ASMusic family suites and 7 day base for me and dh, 6 day for the kids, no ticket for mom plus 1 water park day
$1,958.00....we used about $1,000 in various rewards programs so oop was around 958.
7 nights at Fort Wilderness
$645
7 night camper rental
$1,100
Prime Pantry for meals at ASMUSIC
$50
Groceries delivered to Fort
$200
1 qs meal for each of us a day
$675
Pony rides, souvenirs, arcade, etc
$100 from our credit card rewards
1 day golf cart rental
$63
Flight home
$700 paid for with points so just the fees

We also saved about $250 rolling Target gift cards.
So...the painful grand total is $6,144...blech.

Total oop was somewhere around $3,400 give or take. Still painful but this is our first big trip with everyone anywhere, so trying to take it in stride lol

....and...I'm back!:rotfl2: we are planning a multi family vacation in mid December, this time to Disneyland!:cool1: so far my cost breakdown is...
*airfare for 3,$36.00 (SWA rewards)
*3 nites Hotel near DL,$0- (reward nights IHG)
**3 ,3 day DL park hoppers-actual cost $720 after using discounts)
planning on approx. $150 per day for onsite DL eating for 3 -actual oop around $100,dis/ebay gc discounts)
*6 nites at a condo at a beach in Orange County with family,$0 (their timeshare)
*one night at a hotel near LAX before flight home,$25(IHG rewards)
*half the cost of minivan rental(shared with fam) $150-
*airport parking while we're away,approx. $65-
*dog/catsitting Approx. $400:-)scared1:)
cost of food at condo will utilize my grocery budget plus some (?) for eating out and souvenirs(add a lot lol)
so total oop planned (so far) is $776.00 for a 10 day trip for 3 "adults"..... I can swing that!
So add my two 'Disney' trips together for 2016 and oop total will be approximately $1776.00....:bounce::cool1:

I hope this is ok to start and not a special admin thread or anything. :) But I enjoyed the one so much from last year I thought I would start one for next year!
If you got some sort of special deal or discount that would benefit others and is allowed to be shared on these boards, please do!
The cost for myself (1 adult) including 5-day park hopper pass, deluxe resort, and round trip airfare will be: $1970. I will also be spending at least $150-$200 on food and souvenirs.

7 nights at CBR
7 day park hoppers
DDP
MVMCP
3 Adults
2 Children (6,9)
_______________
$4023.00

Airfare for 4 from TX- $960.00
(brother in law is our 3rd adult and meeting us there- He is also paying $1000 from the above amount)

Total for 2 Adults and 2 Kids = $3960

We are also doing BBB for one child and Pirates League for another and about 500$ spending money. So, we are budgeting 4700$ in all.

12 nights/13 days at Poly through renting DVC points - $2814
2 Tickets to MCO (direct flights, exact times I wanted) - roughly $580-$590 I can't remember
2 Platinum Annual Passes - $1596 (we're going back in May of 2017 so it made sense)
2 Tickets to US Park to Park - $319 (purchased from UT)
2 Admissions for a morning Wild Africa Trek Tour - I believe tickets were $189 before taxes so let's call it $400
2 Tickets for MNSSHP - $154

Approx Trip Cost: $5873

This figure is not including food & souvenirs. We don't have a dining plan and we do have a TS scheduled for every night but most are moderately priced with a few fancier sit downs. I did order breakfast items from Garden Grocer to eliminate a good majority of QS breakfasts from the equation.

The trip is expensive, but granted this is for our honeymoon so we did decide to splurge, and we haven't been to WDW in almost 2 years.

20 days and counting!! :earsboy::earsgirl:

2 Adults WDW/Universal Trip

6 nights at SSR $1050
7 Day park hopper pass $771
MNSSHP $194
Memory Maker $149

2 Day- 2 Park Universal Tickets $431
1 Night Holiday Inn (Across from Universal) $123

Airfare for 2 from PHL- $476

2 Day Car Rental- $53

Total already spent: $3247
Budgeting for food/spending: $1200
Grand Total: $4447

:scared1: This is the first time I've written it all out. Quite a bit of money but what's great about Disney is that it's all paid (at least for us) in advance so it doesn't feel so bad! :thumbsup2

7 - Nights at OKW - $169 + $129 (RCI exchange fee & member fee to borrow points from next year, did spend 50,000 points though)
3 - 1 Day Adult Epcot tickets - $309 (Paid with gift cards earned from Swagbucks)
3 - MNSSHP tickets - $150 (Military discount, paid with gift cards from Swagbucks)
2 - Tanks of gas for round trip to Orlando - $60
2 - SeaWorld Adult tickets, 1 w/ADD - $175

Total out of pocket (so far not including what we will spend once there) - $533
Add $49 if my upgrade request through RCI is granted. Plus we have $100 in Disney gift cards I earned on SB and I am doing the DVC tour so I will get another $50 for that. This has been a fun challenge to make this trip super affordable.

Just me for October 23-27. This is the first time I've booked everything on my own instead of going through Disney directly. A bit stressful, but I've saved a bundle.

3 nights POFQ + 1 night CSR: $722.17 (CheapTickets with 18% off coupon)
Airfare: $260.08 (United down, Southwest back)
5 Day Hopper + Water Park: $388.28 (Park Savers with $2 off discount code)
Trip Insurance: $37 (Roam Right Essential)

$1,147.45

I'm unlikely to spend a dime once on Disney property thanks to a slew of gift cards & rewards from Disney Visa and Perk. Currently have just over $300, hoping to have over $400 by the time I go. Might get a meal at one of the places that has a Disney Visa discount and I'll buy my souvenirs with my credit card.

We plan to take 4 trips before the Aps expire so the next 2 will probably be even cheaper. I'm also not counting what we'll spend there :rolleyes1 I'm sure that'll be like another $1600 between food, transportation, and souvenirs.
