We have annual passes this year, so we'll have two WDW trips in 2016. We are a family of six, so we need to get two rooms. The AP's were purchased last summer, so I won't include those in the cost.

Over Spring Break, we spent a total of $540 to rent a house for 5 nights. This would be in addition to about $400 travel costs (hotel stay both ways) and food.

We will be spending almost two weeks in WDW at the end of June. Two of my kids are in a jump rope competition, so we're at POP for a week for that. I'm not pleased because we were forced to purchase a sport's package, and although we did get a discount for having AP's, we're spending MUCH more than I would have spent on just a room! So, the two jumpers have a room for $1338 and I booked room only for the other four in my family for $1045. So, around $2400 for POP for 8 nights. After that, we'll be spending one night at the Poly for July 4th (two rooms, $941), and then staying at WL, club level, for 3 nights ($1775). With the travel costs, the trip will be around $5500, not including food. Luckily, the jump rope team did some fundraising which we'll use towards this cost!

So, on travel and hotels for 2016 for a family of six, we'll end up spending about $6000, not including meals or tickets.

We splurged on the AP's when my parents bought a house down in FL last summer. We can't do this every year, so we're splurging quite a bit since this upcoming trip will be our last one for a while:(.

Not sure if I want to know the complete total but here goes

8 nights at CBR with free dining and 8 day park hopper tickets = 3650
Travel Expenses(Gas, Hotel on the way, Food on the way) = 300
Souvenirs = 500
Tips = 200
Memory Maker = 150
Extras = 100

Total = 4900

Absolutely! Our Sam's Club is no more than a mile from my house, so that wasn't an issue. Time wasn't an issue either - it was actually fun merging all of the cards together lol! Any way to save a few dollars is worth it to me, especially when it is $100 or more.

I noticed Disney gift cards yesterday at Sam's and was like WOOOOO!! Free $7! That's like getting a snack, gratis. Sign me up.

2 adults, 2 teens (13 & 14)
Sept. 14-19, 5 nights
3 day tickets + PH
Pop Century std room with free QSDP
$2151
Free airfare with Southwest points
plus approx $300 more for MNSSHP

Right now I have figured $2555 for our package which is 5 nights at all star music with 4 day park hoppers and upgrade to regular dining plan and memory maker. We are 2 adults, 1 disney adult(14) and 1 child (7). I am going to add a 5th day of tickets which will be another $63. Also me and ds going to universal for 1 day w park to park ticket which will be about $300. Thinking around $200 for gas/food on the way. Maybe another $100 for food at US and any extra purchases. We dont really do souviners. And then tips I haven't added up yet but am guessing at least $100 maybe 200. So like $3300ish? Lol I don't like adding it up. We did a trip 4 years ago during peak summer time, split an off site house w my friend, got yes program tix back when they were significantly more discounted and did lots of cheap oop dining and snacks, only spent like $2000-2500 max for 9 days w universal and water parks added.

I seriously need someone to teach me this gift card thing lol. I've been reading about it all day, it sounds so confusing though!

We just got APs and a TIW card on our November trip. That cost 645.39 more than the tickets we upgraded from. We have airfare credits with southwest that we have to use my 2/19, so we booked Jan 18-21 at AKV-Kidani in a studio. I used my OKW points to book this, 8 from 2015 and 25 borrowed from 2016. Including my buy-in costs and annual dues, lodging is 267.28. R/T NS airfare for 4 from IND, flying in super early and out super later was $590 after $162 in credits, and will still allow us 4 park days.

645.39 + 267.28 +590.?? = 1503ish + food and airport parking at IND

Our actual cost is lower than this, since I play the gift card game. For simplicity, we will say I bought 1900 in target cards from Kroger when they offered 4x fuel points. I saved 280 on fuel (1720 cost) and got 114 from my 6% cash back card since it was a grocery purchase (1604 cost). I used those target cards to buy 2000 in ebay cards using my redcard discount. I then bought target or kmart cards on ebay when they offered at least 4x ebay bucks. I go through swagbucks shop and earn I got discounted cards often enough to make the times I had to pay shipping on target cards a wash. I can buy ebay, southwest or disney cards at kmart at face value, or 5% discounted cards at target. So, over time, I have been able to turn my ~1600 investment into 2500+ in disney gift cards :) And, I earned $1200+ in swagbucks in 2015, so my actual out of pocket is even lower :)

Assuming we aren't tired of Disney after our January trip, we will do 4 days/3 nights in May to enjoy Flower and Garden, likely at Beach Club. We will use my PVB points for that, so lodging costs will be higher (417.21), but our APs will still be valid and fully paid for :) Also, I have ~275 in Disney Visa rewards to pay my DVC dues, so no actual out of pocket there. I am hoping to have enough miles with southwest to pay for our flights (so, less than 50 in fees there), and we will then just have to worry about food and parking, and it is entirely possible that I could earn enough in swagbucks that it is a "free" trip with gift card churning :) Looking at the possibility of an October trip as well, but I will have to either pay for lodging outright or pay for some points from someone else because I am pretty much out :)

7 Nights at ALS (hoping to get upgraded to any moderate hotel. Might switch to POP) October 1st-8th
Package with free dining is about $1600 so far for 2 days of tickets (plan on going to universal and kennedy space center while there)
Flights from Phoenix will probably be $1000.

Free dining package at CSR for room/tickets/most food = 2900

We will be able to book flights for free with my credit card points - otherwise they are running around $1000 for the three (two adults, one child) of us right now.

I expect we may purchase one meal out of pocket, add Memory Maker, and tips/souvenirs - maybe another 700 or so.

So about $3600 - would have been more like $4600-5000 if we had to buy flights.

$7789 For 9 nights at BC. for 4 adults and a 16yr old, with hopper tix and reg dining plan.

Had to go with Water View to get FD but still a savings for us because our group includes 2 always-hungry young adult DSs and a foodie DH who really likes the dining aspect of WDW trips.
Airfare is minimal as I applied for SW (departing flight) and Frontier (return) credit cards and so got bonus points that will cover the majority of the flight costs.
Not doing any "add-ons" (dessert parties, etc) as staying at BC and having the Dining Plan are enough to make our trip extra special.

Our 2 DSs are 19 and 24, have jobs and so will be chipping in some to help pay. I've been doing swagbucks and perktv since last July and buying Disney giftcards at discounts. We have the Citicard Double Cash credit card that I put ALL of our household/family expenses on. Not just store purchases but utility bills, school tuition, car insurance, etc) The reward dollars add up fast so I've been withdrawing those and using the $ to purchase discounted giftcards as well. I have socked away in our DVA a huge chunk of the total balance due and still have more time to add to that. (earning swagbucks/perk points as I type this!) It's a good feeling to know that we can do this trip almost entirely with "found money" and so w/o putting a big hit on our family household budget!

This is a little depressing:

2 adults, 2 8 year olds, 1 2 year old

Airfare: $30 plus miles
8 nights at Polynesian TPV, DxDP, 5 day hoppers WP&M: $10,350.00
Dessert parties, TL cabana, Pirates & Pals cruise, etc.: approx. $1,000 to $1500 depending on what else I convince myself we need.

Let's not talk about shopping to prepare and at WDW.

Wife's retirement party. Taking the family. 11 people. Three rooms. Five days, four nights at GF. Total with airfare. $16,971.74. 401k is gonna take a hit!!!

$5200 for Me, my sisters, mom, and nephew (4 adults, 1 Disney child). Staying July 2 - July 10 at the Poly with quick service dining plan and 8 day PH tickets with water park & more. We intend on also doing a few TS meals so we're factoring in an additional $400-500 for that. Our airfare was $1800 through Southwest.

2 adults and one child
$2500- 6 nights at poly, plus 5 day park hoppers
$1000- my budget for food, since we can't add the dining plan
$700- flights from NJ
$4200 total :-0

2 adults
$868-4 nights at BWV(rented points)
$348-5 day base ticket for one adult (I have an AP so no calculation for that)
$200(roughly)-gas for driving to and from Florida
$700-my food budget (food and wine festival treats, alcohol, 2 ADRs so far)
=$2116

They sell packs of Disney gift cards. They have $150 packs (3 $50 cards in each pack) for $142.98. They also have $500 gift cards for $474.98 - I like buying these because merging them afterwards is so much easier, having less cards. After I bought the amount I needed to pay off my trip, I went to my account on the Disney gift card website, and merged them all to 2 gift cards (you can merge up to $1,000 on one card) and emailed my TA with the card numbers and trip was paid! I saved over $100 doing it that way.. so worth it! any little bit helps.
I'm going to do this as well!!! Didn't know about last trip!
We are doing DCL/WDW so I should be able to save with the amount of $500 cards that we'll need! It could pay for an excursion..great tip!!!!

We went a little nuts....
May 30-June13
2 weeks at Windsor Hills AND 10 days CBR-4400
5 -10 day tickets with hopper and WPs-2253
6-7 ADRS, plus counter service and snacks daily (breakfast at condo/hotel)- budgeted 2805
Dog boarding-430
Driving up gas/parking for offsite portion- 400
Lots of outfits and such for 3 little girls plus matching shirts- 350ish
1 night offsite for trip up-190
stroller rental-149

We went over 10K- but we have saved over 3 years and my husband picked up a 2nd job to help pay for it!

2 adults
2 Disney adults (14 and 12)
1 Child (6)
1 infant (2)

Free dining at POR (river view room) for 9 nights, 9 day PH, plus memory maker: $4858.22
Flights will likely be around $3000 for 6 from Denver (hopefully less)

No clue on souvenirs, outfits, extras, etc.

And just for fun- our 2008 FD trip at POP with 2 adults, 2 children (6 and 4) for 10 nights, 10 day PH while they were still offering the regular plan at values was $2000.46!!! Unreal! Our flights were free that year, too!

1 Adult and 2 teens - so 3 adults - 8 nights CBR - 8 days park hopper tickets w/water park - regular DP - $4600
3 Flights - $970.
Estimate $300 for tips
$400 on Gifts cards for spending for the teens
$50 offsite hotel for arriving day earlier for cheaper flight

$1668

2 adults, 1 child (5)

7 nights All-Star Sports, 2 park days with water park & more option, free dining (QS).

We bring about $300 for spending money. We drive, so $200 or so more in gas.
