How much is your 2016 Disney vacation going to cost you?

Our trip in April was $3800 including round trip airfare for 5.

Hoping to get another trip put together for this fall for around $5K.

$4200 for 10 nights Value with FD and 10 day PH for 4 adults. Does not include air.

Current air fair from PHX-MCO late Sept. is close to $500/pp....OUCH! Sure hope it drops.

5 nights at CR, theme park view. $6000. 2 adults, 3 kids. Damn. I need to rethink my hotel choice! This doesn't even include getting there!

6 nights at POR standard September 26-October 2
5 day park base tickets
Disney Dining Plan
1 day water park tickets
$2900!! (thanks to an awesome agency exclusive from our travel agent!)

Memory Maker - $150
Roundtrip plane tickets from Houston to MCO - free with points!
Hotel room in Houston (since we live closer to San Antonio) - free with points!
MNSSHP tickets for 4 - ???

PLUS, my mom and sister are going with us and since we bought their plane tickets with points as well, they are paying that money towards our trip! So, our grand total is $2450 (not including tax, MNSSHP tickets, souvenirs, and adult beverages!). I also saved about $360 so far while paying the trip down because of the $200 gift card from the Disney Visa and our local grocery store was offering $20 off $100 Disney gift cards!!

Total = $6,059! Yikes, but it was totally worth it.
Airfare IAD to MCO $232 * 5 = $1160
Checked bag fee =$100
Airport parking =$60
April 20-25 in AoA Cars + 5 day single entry ticket from undercover tourist = $3095
Memory maker = $149
Kingdom stroller =$80
Garden grocer =$115
Meals and souvenirs =$1300

Next trip, just DD and me. Bonus 3rd trip with our AP's.

8/23 - 8/31, 8 nights. May add an extra night at about $100.

Airfare $69 each way from BWI so $275 total. I haven't seen fares like this in years. Southwest.

Room and free QSDP at Pop Century is $1500, including 2 day park hoppers which we'll save for next trip since we have AP's.

So in all less than $2,000 and we will have 2 day park hopper tickets to use next trip that we'll upgrade then.

Dates are 9/9-9/16. We were hoping for free dining at POR, no luck. So we are at ASSp and paid the upgrade to the dining plan with 1 table service per day. Our total is $3030.

We will add on the Memory Maker and possibly an off-site hotel for the night of 9/8.

Road trip, November 19-27
6 nights 7 days at WDW
1 adult, 4 kids (17, 15, 7, 5). Possible addition of 1 additional adult.

$580.00 Car rental through Costco
$2,088.25 All Star Music family suite. If the other adult doesn't join us then we will switch to Caribbean Beach $1,431.00.
$1,868.35 WDW tickets. Buy 3 days get 2 free, discounted tickets through my work. Adult $403.98, kids $328.19
$802.54 US tickets. 1 day Park to Park, discounted tickets through my work. Adult $162.44, kids $157.61. We may or may not have this expense since we will have enough WDW tickets for our park days AND because I have a girlfriend who can get us free tickets.

$5,339.13 grand total.

This does not include gas, food costs, Memory Maker or souvenirs. If the other adult joins us then all tickets prices increase by 1.

Car rental seems real high. I am sure you know this but keep checking closer to your trip. The rental prices really go down when you get closer to the time you need the rental.

We did well booking a bounceback this past August.

We have 10 nights at CBR (love the resort), for 2 adults, 2 Disney adults and 1 child, 10 day water park and more tickets, free ddp, standard room. $4400. It is a great deal considering the ddp alone for our family would cost $280/night and I think I am only paying around $185/night for the room. We love free dining. I booked my adr's at 180 days out, so got all our favorites, Ohana's, BOG, Via Napoli(2), Garden Grill, Yak N Yedi, Liberty Tree Tavern, The Wave, Whispering Canyon Café. I also got our airfare for 5 for $980 for NYC to Tampa (going to LEGOLAND first), I had some points but got the others for around $250 round trip, good times/dates. Going in Aug/Sept. Have Fun Everyone!

Two adults, 27-31 May

Airfare: $750 from Texas
Resort: Contemporary, $2568 w/ mil discount and quick service dining
Tickets: $384, 4-day mil park hoppers

Expecting to push toward $5k total by the time we return home.

$5K seems like a lot for only 4 days, plus you are not even doing the regular ddp. Are you getting a very expensive room at the Contemporary? Seems like a lot of $$$$$$.

5 nights at CR, theme park view. $6000. 2 adults, 3 kids. Damn. I need to rethink my hotel choice! This doesn't even include getting there!

Are you going to spend a lot of time in the room? Paying almost $1200/night for a hotel room is insane IMO, unless money is no object. We have stayed a few deluxes (with great discounts, not spending more then $200/night on a room, prob 7-8 years ago). Now we stay at moderates only. We love POR or CBR. We pay around $200/night and the money you save, you can put towards another trip. Paying $6K for a hotel room is so much money.

2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant, Sept 5-11 Poly, 5 day ticket +1 free fun day=$2317 No DP this year. After number crunching, 15 TS and dinner shows including CRT, BOG, HDD, Cape May 3 times, Le Cellier, Ohana...about $1500 including tips and taxes. We drive.

Total Cost for All Star Sports (7 nights), tickets - 2 adults, 1 disney adult (14) and one child (single day park), and Dining Plan w/a CS & TS each day for 3 (I can't eat solid food) - $ 3,110.70

How did you manage this? I thought everyone in the room had to have the same dining plan?? How did you do it for just 3 out of the 4?

2 adults, 2 kids (16 & 14)
June 11th+
7 nights, 8 days
Grand Floridian, Outer building, deluxe room

$8,388 - I had a "UOC" under my name with 30% discount and free hopper tickets

We're flying SW and 4 round trip tickets were right at $800 with 2 free one-way tickets using points

Price doesn't include paying OOP for 3 meals..we're doing 3 2-credit dinners..

Also, doesn't include dog boarding for 9 days which will be ~ $1k

or spending money..

phew...but we haven't been back in 4 years so I try to think of the money I've saved by not going those years!

HA!

I read the first 3 pages and am shocked at how our costs seem so much higher. What am I doing wrong?? Advice to make this cheaper will be happily considered :) Two adults, two teen boys.
-one night at ASSp $110
-3 nights AKL 1BR, 3 nights BCV studio- using DVC points
-airfare down is $600, haven't booked home yet but its looking like $1000! ( airfare is crazy high this year-end of August) so $1600
-tickets approx $1800 for 6 day WPFM ( through AAA- UT is the same)
-meals/snacks/grocery approx $2000- averaging one TS meal/day
So $5500 and we didn't pay for lodging :(

CBR Dec 10-16, 5 day PH, DDP, 2 adults 3 kids (9,10,11) came to $3300. As much as I love memory maker we might not do it this time. We just went in March and went all out (family magic tour, fireworks cruise, THREE resorts during the trip which ended at CR tower). So it's kind of a miracle that the hubs is ok with another trip this soon!! Can't believe how much better of a deal the FD was for us, than our UOC. Without the dining plan, the room discount would have saved us about $300 - but we would have spent MUCH more than that on food!
