How much is your 2013 WDW vacation going to cost you?

Sadly I do not have a trip planned but I guess I see sticker shock when I see some of the costs for trips that some of you have posted. Granted, it is just DD (an adult) and myself but we usually never spend more than $1200 including food and rental car on a one week trip, unless we are paying for air fare.

My favorite trip was when we had 10 day hopper passes with the non expire option with days left over from a previous trip, and we flew down using frequent flyer miles, and used disney visa points to cover the room. Other than a rental car which I always get, and for which I paid $160 for the week and food (we don't do the DP because most times there is so much food we split it or supplement the split with a salad), the trip cost $160 plus food.(and ya gotta eat no matter where you are so I never count food lol)

Now THAT was awesome!

Rented DVC points ... AKL Savanna View , DDP for 4 nights , flight from NYC and 5 day park hoppers ( Bought 3 got 2 free deal from Union Plus ) total for 4 adults is 3,880 but we are all going to pay our own way ... This is for my sisters 30th so me , 2 sisters and mom ... $970 each with NO KIDS and NO HUBBY .. PRICELESS !!! :rotfl2::thumbsup2

Threads like thus help ground me to reality. Once I start planning, I usually need to figure out what a realistic budget is.
