How Much Is Pal Mickey?

I paid $50 for him in September, but I heard a rumor that he went up a few bucks. Not sure about that though.

Me and one-time terribly skeptical DH absolutely fell in love with him. Even now, months later, we turn him on and squeeze his belly to hear a bad joke because it reminds us of our trip. I write a bit about Pal Mickey in my trip reports if you're interested...I've been posting one a day.

The rental cost is $8 per day, which can be applied to the purchase price, which is $60 including tax.

We bought one Dec. 7 and it was right at $60.00. The price has gone up from $50.00. That said, it has been worth every penny. My DD7 has carried Pal Mickey with her everyday since we have been home. He even went to sit on Santa's Lap. I'm afraid she is going to wear him out but I guess that is better than him sitting in a closet.

Can Pal Mickey be reused each time you visit the parks? (esp. if you don't visit but yearly?)
My DD wants to get this but I really don't want to buy it unless she can reuse it.

We bought one in November and he is great. We were told when we bought him that we should take him back to the shop we got him each time we revisit and they can download any updates to him and that he will just start talking again once he's inside Disney. We will be taking him back in Jan 2005 when we come again.
